Special Victims Unit detectives are searching for a missing 42-year-old man.
Jay Ketter was last seen on February 2, 2025 near East Warrington Avenue and Arlington Avenue in the city’s Allentown neighborhood. He is known to frequent this area.
Ketter is described as 6 feet tall, 130 pounds, with hazel eyes and a brown/gray-ish beard.

Pittsburgh Police Special Victims Unit detectives continue to actively search for a 45-year-old man who has been missing since February 2, 2025.

Jay Ketter (aka JR or Dribble) was last seen in the area of East Warrington Avenue and Arlington Avenue in the Allentown neighborhood of the city. He is described as 6 feet tall, approximately 200 pounds, with brown/hazel eyes and a brown/grayish beard.

Detectives have received valuable information concerning Jay's disappearance and are now asking the public to come forward with additional tips to help further their investigation.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Pittsburgh Police Special Victims Unit at (412) 323-7141.

I'm glad the family verified the weight at 200. At 6 foot, 130 pounds is really underweight and had me concerned as to illness.

Jay Robert Ketter (DOB 4/6/1980) has three cases in the court system pending, including 3 Level 3 felonies, classified as inactive pending preliminary hearing or arrignment. It appears the court may be backed up but he's NOT FTA or anything of that nature.

Earlier cases were for Disorderly Conduct, Harrasment, A DUI (2010, singular incident), minor vehicle infractions (tags and registration) There is no record in the state system for the outcome of this robbery case in 2002 for a Jay Ketter. (and there are no other Jay Ketter's of any age in the system) though there is one for the person arrested with that Jay Ketter (Docket Number: CP-02-CR-0000005-2003). So charges may have been dropped or he wasn't indicted and due to the date of the offense that record may not longer be in the system.
