Police break own water cannon with eggs

I don't know how, but German police have managed to put dents the size of fists in 33 tonnes of brand new steel water cannon truck, using just eggs and soft tennis balls.

They've spent over $900,000 on the new trucks, and decided to test the quality of the first arrival, but went gently, pelting it with the above soft objects rather than the rocks and Molotov cocktails it might encounter in a real riot. The result was disaster.

A report is being compiled (which will still be generating paperwork in 20 years, if you ask me).

The flipping Daily Mail picked up the water cannon story too. I thought I was the only one who noticed it hidden away!

But I notice the Mail hasn't run with the money taped to private parts story either, Lol. Perhaps because it's all a bit ickky when you start thinking where the bills in your wallet might have been....
