Columbia police continue to search for woman last heard from nearly a week ago - WIS TV

CPD said 56-year-old Angela Fuller was reported missing by a loved one after not hearing from her since Aug. 29.

Police said Fuller was last seen on the 3000 block of North Beltline Boulevard wearing a white T-shirt, gray basketball shorts and black Nike slides.

Anyone with information is asked to call 911 or Crimestoppers at 1-888-CRIME-SC.

The search for Angela Fuller, a 56-year-old Columbia woman missing since August 29, continues as her family expresses growing concern over her disappearance. Fuller was last seen on Beltline Boulevard in Columbia, just two days after celebrating her birthday.

Her family has been conducting their own search efforts for the past week, but there has been no trace of her. According to the family, Fuller left with her boyfriend, Anthony Reese, on the day she disappeared.

Niece Emani Harley recounted that Reese returned alone to switch vehicles, and Fuller was not with him. Attempts to contact Reese were unsuccessful as he reportedly blocked the family's calls.

The Columbia Police Department is investigating the case and has confirmed to WACH Fox News that Reese is an acquaintance of Fuller. Reese is currently being held on unrelated charges following a high-speed chase through Richland and Lexington counties on Sunday night.

Left with boyfriernd, he returned without her and has blocked calls to her, later involved in high speed chase. This isn't sounding good. We can't sleuth him unless he is formally named as POI, but I'm sure the charges for the high speed chase have been posted in the Richland County Court system for when if/when its appropriate.

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) - Human remains discovered outside Columbia on Thursday have been identified as a missing woman.

The Richland County Coroner’s Office confirmed to WIS that the remains of 56-year-old Angela Fuller were found in the area of Shakespeare Road in Dentsville.

I found the arrest records when she went missing after the high speed chase but couldn't post as he wasn't a POI yet. The firearms charge was concerning, and at that point I was pretty sure she wouldn't be found alive. So sorry for her family.

At the time I could see the stated charges listed in the Richland County court system, but can't pull them up now. The firearm charge was for possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. May be a database glitch, but the article above has the same charges I saw in the court database. I also checked Lexington County where the arrest took place following the car chase.

'I don't want to believe it': Family grieves the loss of Angela Fuller (WACH)

Fuller’s family expressed their devastation upon learning the news.

"For 2 weeks, we didn’t know anything, and to see her like that broke us. It’s been 2 weeks too long," said Emani Harley, Fuller’s niece. Harley described the moment she learned of her aunt's death, saying, "My body went limp, I didn’t want to believe it, even now I still don’t want to believe it but I kept trying to tell myself it’s not her, that they made a mistake."

According to Fuller’s family and Columbia police, she was last seen with Anthony Reese, who was reportedly driving her car.
Authorities named Reese a person of interest in Fuller’s disappearance on Wednesday. He is currently in jail on a $150,000 bail after leading police on a high-speed chase through Richland and Lexington counties last week. However, police have not confirmed if Reese is responsible for Fuller’s death.

Columbia police officials stated they are still gathering evidence and plan to hold a news conference soon.

Columbia Police announced on Thursday that 55-year-old Anthony Reese has been charged in connection with Fuller’s death. Authorities believe Reese, who was in a relationship with Fuller, acted alone in the crime.

As of Thursday night Reese is at the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center. He faces several charges including:
