I tried like heck to find the victim's name but none of the articles seem to provide it. The boy was tortured for days.

The boyfriend was charged in March, the victim's sister was just recently charged. I have so many questions on this one. Where the parents as this child was being tortured over days? Was Kara left to babysit her brother while the parents were away on some trip or something? The teens were the ones who too k this unnamed victim to the hospital with some half baked story about a fall.

18-year-old arrested and charged in beating death of 8-year-old boy in Baytown area

A teen couple accused of torturing the girlfriend's little brother to death told police the child 'just fell a lot,' according to officials.

Kara Walker, 17, was arrested on Wednesday for the February death of her eight-year-old brother and charged with felony injury to a child.

Her boyfriend Nolan Stallings, 18, was arrested for the same charge in March.

Police have not released the little boy's identity.

Stallings was, unbelievably, released on 1 Million bond and expected back in court on September 18. Walker is due in court today (September 2nd)

Neither teen is charged with murder, they face charges for felony injury to a child.

It really bothers me that this victim is not named. I wanted to put it in the title rather than the monsters who hurt him. And I had hoped to be able to share his obituary.

thank you for this. so our victim's name was Charles Walker. I hated not knowing his name. I'd rather his name were remembered rather than his killers

The grieving father said doctors compared the boy's injuries to those suffered in a 'car accident.'

'[A] 70 to 80 mile an hour car crash with an unrestrained victim,' West said.

the article goes on to say that Kara and her and Charles parents hope Stalling's charges are upgraded. Beg pardon? I get the parents standing by their daughter, but how exactly do they think their child was tortured over the course of days at Stallings (the boyfriend) home without their daughter's involvement either directly or complicitly??

So the parents believe every world the girl says and their reason is the girl is 5'2 and 100 pounds so is not capable of that level of abuse. That makes zero sense.
