"She frequented the area of Roosevelt and Presa, that was an area that she hung out, " said Officer Alisia Pruneda with the San Antonio Police Department.
Investigators are hoping someone will finally provide a tip about Hewitty's disappearance.
"I have to believe that someone does know something, I do I think that if they're just brave enough to make a phone call and leave an anonymous tip, "Pruneda went on to say.
Hewitty was 19 years when she was last seen in November 2009, in the area around Roosevelt and South Presa.
Hewitty has brown hair and eyes, is around 5'1 and at the time of her disappearance weighed 120 pounds. She has "Jamie" tattooed on her upper right back shoulder and "Luis" on her right bicep.>>
