Detectives investigating the death of Graham Wright have arrested and charged a man.

The 53-year-old has been arrested and charged in connection with attempting to defeat the ends of justice and enquiries are ongoing.

He is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Thursday, 2 October, 2025.

Graham, 38, was reported missing on Monday, 25 August, after last being seen around noon on Wednesday, 20 August, 2025, on Cumberland Street, Glasgow.

On Saturday, 13 September, 2025, officers were called to the Rubha Dubh, near Firkin Point, Loch Lomond, after human remains belonging Graham were discovered.

Graham's death continues to be treated as unexplained and extensive enquiries are ongoing.

it sounds a lot like they don't know themselves. All those other flats & all those other people, it's not likely that 1 guy has 15 people involved in his murder. First it was the teacher angle, they left that, now it's a female love triangle but how that neighbour fits in, not too sure either. They charged that guy but only on defeating the ends & only because he made himself very suspicious by burning that van. Which he probably will say was something else related he didn't want the cops to know. Which could very well be. He wouldn't be the first growing a plantation in his flat & trying to get rid of it ASAP. That they keep on searching means probably they haven't found much other parts so how he died might remain a mystery.

John Roarty appeared in private at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Thursday charged with attempting to defeat the ends of justice and was remanded in custody.
