A deputy head primary school teacher has appeared in court charged with 18 child sex abuse offences, including two counts of rape.

Ms Morris is accused of two counts of rape, nine counts of causing or inciting a child under 13 to engage in sexual activity, three counts of taking an indecent photo of a child, and one count of possessing indecent photos of a child.

She is also charged with one count of engaging in sexual communication with a child and two counts of engaging in sexual activity in the presence of a child.

The offences are alleged to have taken place in Eccleston, Merseyside, between 2018 and this year.

Add even worse she taught religious education along with math. How do young people process any of this let alone it being the person giving you religious studies?

Julie Morris: Wigan deputy head teacher jailed for raping girl

A primary school deputy head teacher and her partner have been jailed for dozens of child sexual abuse offences, including nine counts of rape.

Julie Morris, 44, the safeguarding lead at a school in Wigan, and David Morris filmed themselves abusing and raping a girl under the age of 13.

The teacher was jailed for 13 years and four months.

Her 52-year-old partner, of St Helens, admitted 34 offences at a previous hearing and was jailed for 16 years.
