Should I assume these are all "still pending"?

Yes. I took a quick look at each one with these tired eyes. All will require further examination/follow up to make a determination.

Thanks again!

I'll update and add each of them. Should I assume these are all "still pending"?
Yes, he excluded Michael Smith from that list, which is one he ruled out via dental records and posted earlier in the thread.

My last suggestion:
#19 on my list from the dropbox link

Curtis William

I was looking at him as well. Seem like a close match

Thanks! I added it to the master list (detail summary I think he's #22 if you scroll down). I'm done for the night as it's late. Everything is updated to the best of my ability this morning! (LOL)

I'll check it tomorrow.

The most updated versions of both documents are on the dropbox link below:

Side by side of Beich with the UID's reconstruction. It's hard to tell for sure with the different head angles, but it seems there's quite a resemblance. The eyebrows look like they're wrong, though.

Thanks Carbuff! Here's a better pic I found of Bobby searching this morning. Not sure why the other pic is used on missing sites because it's not very clear. http://www.offshoreonly.com/forums/...raphs-mike-bontoft-tom-gentry-bobby-beich.jpg

Edit- The person standing with him is Tom Gentry according to the link I found.

They are very long legs. My son is over 6' tall, and he wears 34" length. He has long legs and a long torso. My son's slender build is why I ruled out overweight missing persons. 32 x 36 is thinner than my son because he wears 32 x 34 and is very slender at 150 lbs.

32x36 is what my 6'3" son in law wears. He's around 140-150 lbs. So I agree John Doe is likely tall and thin. But since it isn't for sure that the jeans belong to him, I don't think we should rule out heavier candidates.

I went through Doenet last night looking for men who went missing with dogs. The only likely possible I found was Meer, who was already ruled out.

Sleuthster, I'll put up a side by side of Bobby's better photo with the UID later when I'm on the laptop. It's hard to do from the phone :)

Vaughn appears to be to short and has brown hair.

Here are two possible matches:

David Milton Black
Missing since August 26, 1991 from Sunnyvale, California.

Christopher Conrad Huffman
Missing since April 15, 1991 from Pasadena, California.

There isn't really much to rule or not rule these two out.

I found this link with some much better photos of Christopher. His daughter is looking for him.

I looked at the possibles which you suggested as still on your list. Many of them had strawberry blond hair, which in fact can turn redder in the sun. Thank you for clarifying on the hair. From this, I take it that lighter hair is definitely a high priority. I look forward to a photo of the actual color of your unidentified's hair.

Those strawberry blondes were my recommendations before they clarified the hair color was darker. Some of them are dark enough but some of them are way too light.

I don't think all brown hair can be completely ruled out. Brown hair can turn significantly redder in the sun. I think it needs to be a medium brown or a light brown to be potential match based on hair color changing due to sunlight. The people with the super super dark brown hair wouldn't be a match. And the very pale light strawberry blondes wouldn't either. Dark blondes and light/medium browns could match. It's very possible the missing person's family didn't mention red tones if their hair didn't normally show red when they weren't in the sunlight.

Alternately, all blonde hair colors can't be ruled out either. As a natural light blonde my entire life, I've always been amazed by the brown hair that is often classified as blonde hair. For example the following picture (below) is described as blonde hair on a hair color website. And that's NOT blonde IMO but people call it blonde, and even hair color companies call it blonde. So a dark blonde hair color defined as blonde or strawberry blond could be match, especially if there is no picture showing the hair color, because dark blonde and light brown are almost interchangeable hair colors.

Thank you so much. You are so correct that people characterize hair color in different ways. I probably had that color of blonde (I would call it blonde) when I was in third grade. My hair then changed to med brown and is now full of gray. What you say makes a lot of sense, as well as your clarification of what the police are looking for.

It's my understanding now that the persons hair has to be REEEEEEEEEEEEEDDD!!!!!!!!!! Not brown or light brown or black.

I had a guy that was a perfect match, but the Detectives said he was a no go because of his light brown hair.
