LOL. Yes, this cheers me up and it would have been wonderful had misfortune not come knocking at the family door. maybe this happened to distract me. I don't wish ill will on most people and I NEVER ask for Divine help to make that happen. But anything bad that happens to these people will hopefully serve notice to others that this sort of crap can't happen anymore.

Jimmy is just the beginning. This guy has been hurting people most of his miserable 51 years on this planet.

Make no mistake about it the FEDS want this guy for kiddie *advertiser censored* and that is the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. That stuff about the empty gun belt in the bag is nonsense, IMO, it is. It really makes no sense if you know how cops deal with their weapons. If the belt was in the car then the gun was in the belt. It makes no sense he would take the gun out of the holster and leave everything else behind. Why not just take the whole bag? Chiefs don't wear gun belts. I didn't wear a gun belt and I was only a detective. The belt went on when the uniform went on or I went to the range. A Chief doesn't have to answer to anyone for not having his gun belt on his uniform. Some folks think the gun was left in the bag and they covered it up. Why then did they mention the belt knowing the idea the gun being in the car would follow? If you followed the case carefully you would have noted that Loeb NEVER wanted to admit the gun belt in his allocution simply because it never happened. He had absolutely nothing to lose or gain by admitting there was an empty belt.

The belt being in the bag was to create a sense of urgency to the situation if stealing anything from the chief of police car wasn't enough to get things in motion.

What the fool should have done was to go to the precinct and be shocked a kiddieporn DVD was in the bag and say he must have stolen it in another car and for carrying purposes put his other bounty in the bag. OK, rumors would have started flying but they would have died down. What he did, and IMO is to stir the pot more than he had to.

Do you guys really think the FEDS would spend so much time on a cop beating a suspect that didn't even have to go to the hospital to be treated for a serious injury. The FEDS get several thousand of these cases every year and there are so many they have the time to treat seriously.

This is what I heard really happened that caused this case to be re-opened. Burke caused the Joint Gang Task Force to be disbanded. My guess is he didn’t want the FEDS looking over his shoulder. They started downplaying the crimes that appeared to be gang related to show the public this was a good and effective way to deal with gang activity.
A JGTF detective and others knew this was a cover-up and a lie. The detective started accessing the Reckless Endangerment complaints, or the random shootings or drive by shootings that suggested gang activity. The detective began giving this information to a reporter. The reporter started writing stories that suggested the whole truth wasn’t being told. It doesn’t take long to figure out who was doing that and so they wire-tapped the detective’s phone. The wiretap picked up numerous conversations with the FBI and US attorney’s office. The dummies listened to all those conversations. There is no excuse for any law enforcement officer to listen in on a conversation of a federal agent. They did it anyway. What they heard was not flattering to some people in the SCPD (Burke) and the DA office. This caused Tom Spota to be enraged that the FEDS would be speaking so despairingly about his office and his favorite cops in the PD. He and two others set up a meeting with US attorney Loretta Lynch. The dummies brought the tapes and told Lynch she should take the federal agents to task for their candid conversations on the tape. I am told General Lynch was aghast. She closed the meeting and thanked Spota, McPartland, and Constant for coming and advising her of this situation. They left and she went ballistic and put a HIT out on Spota and his crew.
The detectives was arrested, pleads guilty to a minor charge and was forced to resign and ended what most people that know this case said it was a stellar career.
Bellone lauds Burke in a State of the County address and tells everyone that Burke ending the federal task force was the right thing to do. He was later forced to re-instate the unit but filled it with inexperienced detectives. And this is why you see in current news stories that the new commissioner needs to repair relations with the federal government.
This people ( Spota and Burke) are so corrupt, jaded, and stupid they didn’t realize you just can’t listen in on a conversation with a federal law enforcement officer and compounded the felony by telling the US attorney that they did so.

kiddie *advertiser censored* .....

JB could not say that Loeb stole the kiddie *advertiser censored* from another car and put the bounty in Burke's bag.

Why not?

....fingerprints......

plus, who's to say that Burke was actually 100% stone cold sober that night, and thinking....
like a criminal.....to be innocent....to NOT have kiddie *advertiser censored*.

He knows more than anyone that kiddie *advertiser censored* is 10 years - no questions asked.
Care of Homeland Security.

Trust me TKMB it would have never gotten to the fingerprint stage of the case. The detectives wouldn't have dared pursue the case even if they thought it was BS. That is why Loeb remained in the 4th Pct., for at least 2 days, if not 3 or until they could figure out what they were going to do with him. Then they slapped a half million dollar bail on him so they could control him from telling what he knew.

My info is to look for at least ONE arrest of a major Suffolk police official as early as next week. There may be more and I am sure there will be a lot more, but maybe not next week.
