Does anyone want to try to figure out if finding the deer stand minutes from the cemetery but overlooking the bridge might lead to new scenarios regarding BG and how it all went down? I think that bit of info could be of real importance in how the girls might have been singled out, maybe.

After listening a couple more times, I don't think the first word is actually NO. More like ya-know.

After listening, I agree. I was going with another poster's transcription before. The officer is well spoken, so it just goes to show how easy it is to miscommunicate.

Just to add some context here...LE and FBI frequently analyze the word choices, voice tone, and slips of the tongue, among other things, when they listen to interviews by tipsters, family members, and interviewees. I'm not sure why Bemused's post is so ludicrous, and why you feel it necessary to chastise her for her contribution. If you don't agree, scroll and roll. I for one find analysis of word choices and slips to be very interesting...not just for RL but for others as well.

We are all entitled to our opinions here, imho. The general public and people who are upset by current happenings in their lives, are bound to choose words that could have been better chosen if they may have practiced beforehand, or be trained in giving off the cuff remarks to media.. they aren't necessarily practiced at choosing just the correct word to convey just the exact whatever, like LE are. RL is 77 years old, and I would imagine that all of his vocabulary might not be right on the tip of his tongue at this point. In any event, disaster doesn't seem like something that is out of line in the situation. It's not like he spoke of the girls in the past tense even before they were found or something more 'telling', like that.

I was looking for that post and members name last night. While all the debating was going on I was searching, but never found it.

Exactly. They definitely could have blurred this out. However, if BG was exposing himself, the blurred section in front of his pants would be obvious. JMO.

Neither does his age or any other observation about him (since we don't know him) indicative of guilt or innocence. I really don't understand why people get so bent out of shape when others are suspicious of RL. I'm suspicious for many reasons, not just a single thing, and I may be totally wrong since I wasn't there and aren't privy to what LE knows to be facts of these murders. IMO

Maybe there should be a caveat added by WS administrators following "You may sleuth what is public record, including past criminal or legal history. You may discuss whether or not you feel his voice or appearance match the evidence shared by LE." ***Do so at your own risk of persecution by fellow posters! For the most part I am scrolling and rolling past post after post of people's sympathies towards RL, his dog, his horses, his home. I can agree to disagree and will do so by scrolling past what I don't agree with.. I'd appreciate the same in return.

IIRC the member didn't say. They said they had been working on clearing up some of the blurry parts of pic and had discovered what it was & asked if anyone would be interested in knowing. Paraphrasing, of course, as I'm unable to locate the post. It was during yesterday evenings epic melt- down debacle .
