Oh boy, I'm so trying to catch up, but I thought it was reported shooter was shooting down the hallway. But I also heard that Campos was alerted to him because he heard drilling. Now I an completely confused

Cops had been called to hotel because of another incident.
Latest 'story' is that Campos was sent to floor 32 cos of some alarm thingy/malfunction which may have been caused by one of any number of things. Have no clue.
While he was there, he heard drilling noise from shooter suite so he toddled down the corridor to check it out.
Shooter was allegedly drilling the door inside his room,
He had 2 cctv cameras outside plugged into an ipad so he could observe the corridor.
My understanding is that main door to his suite was located at end of corridor, facing up.. but cant swear it.
Why shooter had 2 cctv's instead of one is kind of reading like overkill, as there was only one direction to watch. (unless he expected to see somebody pop out of the ceiling as well)
He spots Campos and he lets off a few shots OR a volley, not sure,
campos legs it.
Then another security guard wanders on to the floor, I think he may have heard drilling too.. so this was indeed very determined drilling.. possibly shooter was lining up a gun to kill whoever breached the door, but he could have done most of that much earlier in the day or procured a much quieter drill.. speculation.
Shooter peeks out the unfinished carpentry door, it must have been unfinished or he would not have been able to open it
he decides to take a few more pot shots at sg 2 who also legs it.
sg2 reports the wounded sG1 warned him to take cover so he escaped as well
He phoned reception, gives his active shooter warning to someone who may or may not have contacted the police at some stage.
His mate is wounded but not seriously.
mB latest statement says that shooter shot campas, sg1, and within 40 seconds of shooting Campas, he shot into the crowd.
Prob is several fold
we dont know what time campas allegedly alerted reception.
But from sg2 interview.. shooter would have had to
continue drilling
shoot at sg2
smash some windows, big big windows with just a smallish hammer
Take aim and fire at the tanks, and run to window 2 and start shooting the crowd.
Possibly glove up as well..
Now if hotel had received sg1's report, they should not have sent a second unarmed sg to the floor.
whats not known is whether the Sgs recognised the wiring on the tea trolley to be a bomb or even if they saw it at all
the other anomaly is why the trolley was still there, normally housekeeping in such a mega hotel would whisk it away almost immediately
Thats the gist of it and I could well have got it wrong in places.
