Neal Boware was last seen at 5:30 p.m. on July 24, 2006 on Thornton Street in Akron, between south Broadway and Wolf Ledges. He and his mother were walking home from a doctor's appointment when they stopped at a store. While his mother was inside making a purchase, Boware ran out and jumped off a bridge, possibly onto a moving train that was traveling below the bridge at the time. His mother contacted police but by the time they arrived, Boware was gone. He has not been seen again.

Case file: Neal Boware

I live in Akron and the spot where Neal jumped off of the bridge is busy and those tracks are very busy and open surrounding the tracks both ways. I've never understood this case and how he could be gone. I also found in some research that Neal's father is an ex police officer.
