A very valid point... I cannot see how he can get too far from London without being recognised, unless of course he is being helped

How many more are walking amongst us. The system needs to be more robust against criminals and especially sex offenders.
A major audit needs carrying out. Imo.

Does anyone know if there could possibly be any family harbouring him. I imagine the Police will have looked into this possibility.

Just been doing a quick read up on alkali burns.
What to do about alkali burns?
Immediately rinse with a large amount of cool water. Rinsing within 1 minute of the burn can reduce the risk of complications. Flush the area for at least 20 minutes. Do not use a hard spray of water because it can damage the burned area.

Are acid or alkali burns worse?
Chemicals can often be classified as acid, alkali, organic, and inorganic compounds. Acids act by denaturing and coagulating proteins. Alkaline burns cause deeper burns than acid burns. Alkaline compounds saponification on the surface epithelium of the skin and laxity causes necrosis.
Rare chemical burns: Review of the Literature.
How long after a burn can you get sepsis?
Burn patients are admitted directly to the burn intensive care unit with hypovolemic shock from the initial injury. Sepsis rarely occurs within the first week but instead, occurs weeks to even months after the injury. As long as the wound remains open, the burn patient is at risk for developing sepsis.
Sepsis in the burn patient: a different problem than sepsis in the general population - Burns & Trauma.

Trouble is we get lessons are learned etc, then all's right until something pops up again.The guy is from Afghanistan ,different culture, women are teated as objects, somehow it's thought by giving asylum it'll alter.

Wow, a nine-week jail term suspended for two years for the sexual assault and a 36 week jail term for indecent exposure, also suspended for two years.Ezedi was convicted of "sexual assault/exposure" in 2018, before being granted asylum in 2021 or 2022.

Staff at a Kurdish grocery shop in the Byker area of Newcastle where the man lived told The Times that he would come in every two weeks to buy half of a halal sheep that he would then cut up and put in his freezer.

His appeal was successful in 2020, and he was granted asylum.
