For Sleutherontheside, thank you for all you do here.
I most certainly do remember the showboating of Cheney to the court personnel, very rude, promising them that mic would NOT be allowed to remain on that desk. Guess what? Judge Strickland told him, it has a mute button buddy, use it. heh
Listen very closely in the beginning, it seems Jose is telling him so and so said he can remove it and the court worker said, no, that is not what I heard. You take it up with the judge. Love him!
Cheney Mason telling the clerk personnel, "One thing I can assure you is that microphone is not going to be on while I sit here". The gentleman replied, "You can take that up with Judge Strickland when he comes in". The defense most certainly has known there were hot microphones there from jump, to pretend to be shocked by it now is just silly. Even Casey has the habit of reaching for the mute button before she speaks.
All of these sudden flurry of motions is just a drop dead date hurry to the courthouse steps. Judge Perry said to them "Anyone who doesn't believe in due dates will find out they may get left out in the cold."
