So the search today had NOTHING to do with the Mob arrests last week. It had EVERYTHING to do with the FBI flyover from April. Thank you very much!

Hey Truth, you joke about the Sharktopus but, believe me, they can really see it. The cameras are very specialized and can find Sharktopus and anything else you want to bury. Here is some good info:

http://news.discovery.com/tech/hyperspectral-imaging-dead-bodies.html

yeah that is great, but the fbi should stop playing with the overpriced toys they buy with tax payers money and help convict this SK. Get your heads out of the clouds and on the ground in oak beach and figure out how to catch the child murderer living behind the safety of his lawyer and his lame *advertiser censored* gate.

I thought it was weird that MP asked Shannan if she had seen a specific movie. "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas" Can anyone elaborate? I have never seen the movie.
And that SG answered, "yes"???

Fear and Loathing is about a gonzo journalist and friend that do a ton of drugs in a week long binge. Much of the time they are completely out of their minds.

I think Johnny dep even hides behind a couch at one point.

Good point about MP being let in the gate.

Does anyone remember the minutia about the phone calls being traced to Times Square? What sort of radius are we talking about? a few blocks or an actual intersection that can be pin pointed?

It would be nice to know what level of traffic noise MB's sister heard in the background. Next to none in a building, slight muffled in a car, or loud in the sidewalk.

A&E special - A few quick points that stuck out to me wrt Shannan.
Also, they met up with JB and then FOLLOWED him to his house.

Maybe that is why fluke you keeps yelling "who let Pak out of oak beach gate?" I am almost certain he has been saying that, will verify tomorrow.

Also, did you guys hear Pak say he was SLEEPING when JB came outside to bring him into the house?

What happened to Pak waiting outside of the gate playing poker on his cell?

If he was truly parked outside of JB's house sleeping, then why did SG have to make all of those phone calls to him to contact him? Also, how did he continuously answer her calls and texts if he was sleeping?

Which is it; were you sleeping in your SUV outside JB's house or were you parked outside of the gate playing poker?

Pak is probably not our SK but he surely elevated himself to the top of the list as someone who appears to be hiding something in connection with SG's disappearance. The most amazing twist to this entire case would be if SG is still alive and manages to escape from captivity. Wow would her story be something to hear. If her case somehow is not connected to the ten bodies then the possibility does exist that she has been held captive and alive this entire time. Some abductors are far from being murderers. If anything, once they started discovering bodies so close to Oak Beach, an abductor would very likely go out of his way to make sure that SG stays alive (simply because an abductor would not want everyone to assign blame to him for the ten bodies). SG's mom kept hinting that the key to SG's case lies within the community. I pray that SG is still alive somewhere within the OB community.

Thank you for reminding me of that. Yes... he basically was saying that since she was able to answer what he considered to be a tough question (yes or no??? 50 percent chance right???) then he concluded that she was not incoherent or spaced out on drugs. This once again contradicts his statements from last year when he and JB both insisted that she was high on drugs and possibly had a reaction from mixing her bi-polar medication with drugs and alcohol.

Now he is insisting that she was coherent?

If so, then wouldn't that implicate him further since that makes her statements to the 911 operator (that they were trying to kill her) much more valid?

We really need to hear her 23 minute 911 call.

Oh ya one other thing remember when the SK was calling the one girls sister and i think it was the third call the main detective with white hair or sherriff he stated that in other calls they traced it to down town manhattan but to many people on cell phones then and this is his words they traced it to the exact spot he was at but same thing too many people and to many on cells so he fit in . so send the video of the spot to some computer squad make a still photo off the exact spot when you have that put the pic on the computer start taking out the people not on a cell phone and woman and anyone with kids or other people and you will be left with a photo of only the people talking on the cell everyone else would be digitaly taken out and releast that pic someone may recognize the guy from meeting him off craigslist i mean its worth a shot if they were correct in saying they narrowed it down to the exzact spot

That's a good find. From the looks of bing's bird's eye view it seems like it would be relatively easy to drive to the end of Hawser drive and exit through the brush to some beach access trails, one of which extends to the clover leaf of robert moses park way. But why would he do this? Did something go terribly wrong?

I still the MP being responsible for SG's death is more plausible than the SK living in the neighborhood or SG drowning. Another factor to this is his prior record. If he got caught for being SG's driver from her call to the police would it mean prison time?

Thanks Kaytom. I had a look at that also, and it seems possible. Also looks like one could go off Anchor Way, Larboard, or Circle Drive on various trails going northward up to Ocean Parkway ... but any of those routes taken out of the gated community would definitely be a sign that MP was evading detection, regardless of which escape route was used.

If he left by the conventional way, he should have been on the security cam.

The A&E special tonight really upset me. I'm usually up this late anyhow, but I can't get it off my mind. I thought it was so sad. It didn't really provide much information - so much was left out and/or not addressed at all. But what it did do was provide a portrait of these women and their families and really reminded me what this is truly about. It's easy to get caught up in the amateur sleuthing and all the facts and information. I'm glad, actually, that it did seem to focus more on the human aspect of the case. I think people need to be reminded - these are real people, real lives that were destroyed (those of the women and the families & loved ones left behind.) These women had families and children and friends and were loved and are missed. It's just so sad. If any of the families ever read this, I for one would want them to know how sorry I am and how badly I want justice for all the victims.
And if the SK ever reads this - f u, you p of s, you are going down - I promise you that, and sooner rather than later. You might as well go jump off a bridge now because it's already over for you. I hate your guts but you'll get yours.

who is pak's lawyer?
who is brewers lawyer?
and who is alex's lawyer?

does anyone know?
i heard they did not really use the dogs yesterday - just a press ploy to tell the public. anyone know for sure?

People can lie about what ever they choose to lie about
and to whomever they choose to

but its their ACTIONS that you need to watch.

Pak and Alex did not SCREAM at the top of their lungs to find Shannan.
Shannan's family did.

Shannan's family screamed and didnt stop screaming to the SCPD.
but - rut row - the SCPD searched the grounds and
rut row - the FAMILY found Shannan's leather jacket and her earring.

how did the police miss both of those items?

WATCH THE ACTIONS of liars. THAT will tell you EVERYTHING

Alex hit her?
he has absolutely no respect whatsoever for human life. NONE.
and ditto for Pak.

I agree snapdragon...i thought it was very well done....focused on the human aspect....the girls. Mothes...daughters...sisters...they all had lives...families. I think it reminds us this isn't a game...it is real.

Hope they get him soon...

True. I wish the A&E special clarified the security camera issue and said whether their was or wasn't a tape.

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. Maybe they can deduct a fair amount of people and ask the others to come forward. I'm guessing that the actual radius of the location isn't as narrow as we think. Plus if he's calling during rush hour there's probably a couple hundred people on any given corner.

That didn't make any sense to me either. He said he asked her a question to see if she was okay ... something about Fear and Loathing in LV (a movie about hard core drug use). She said "yes". Then he thought she was fine and left? Why would she run away from her driver ... isn't he supposed to be the one person she trusted? That part was very confusing.

A&E special - A few quick points that stuck out to me wrt Shannan.

I heard Pak mention that when the date was set, Shannan called Brewer. not the other way around?
Also, they met up with JB and then FOLLOWED him to his house.

Good points, IG. The Fear and Loathing comment stuck me as very odd. I've seen the movie many times. Although there is a great deal of drug-related freaking out in the film, I don't see why asking Shannan if she had seen that movie would accomplish anything. The way Pak said it almost made it sound like he was speaking to her in code, like that was some sort of secret code between them. And Pak felt he had to mention it (and sort of- but not really- explain it) during the interview because it was recorded on the 911 call. Maybe I'm reading too much into it.

I missed the first 45 minutes of the program ... but something I'm wondering about. There was the one woman that had gotten out of the escort business but was evicted, so she was going to do it one more time. Her brother died two years later in a motorcycle accdent. What happened to their parents? I kept expecting her parents to be interviewed, but it was only the one sister - and she said that the other moms of missing women had become her surrogate moms.

Also, I was really stunned when the Asian man, toddler and other woman were connected with the case, and body parts were found 40 miles apart. This is a really strange case ... but the real clues should be in the first bodies.

Also shocking was the fact that if a woman disappears and she is an escort, police will not take a missing person report for 10 days ... why is that? The first few hours are crucial. It sends a loud message that women working as escorts are not worth looking for. If police continue treating escorts as not worth looking for, they will never solve the case. And what of the toddler ... suggesting that the toddler was taken along on a "date" is a bit strange ... is that really what happened, or is that an assumption that was made in order to reduce the investigation to escorts going to meet men on their turf ... isn't it possible that this was one of the first and the suspect went to her home?

I was expecting that is was code for asking whether she had taken too many drugs and that an answer of "yes" meant she'd had too much and needed help ... but the driver instead understood it as meaning she was fine. Odd.
