A verdict in the case of an Ohio man charged with aggravated murder and other crimes in the slaying of his daughter-in-law, who was strangled with a zip tie and dumped in a septic tank, was expected on Monday evening.

William Inman Sr., 48, is on trial in the murder of 25-year-old Summer Inman.

The prosecutor said Inman ruled the family and wanted to help his son, who was in a child custody dispute with Summer Inman as they went through a divorce.
"If she's not there, who would get custody of the children, their father and his parents," said Assistant Attorney General Paul Scarsella.

But Inman's attorney argued that it was the son who killed Summer.

RIP, dear Summer.

Her father made me cry....prayers to Summer's family and friends.

Thank goodness! Justice for Summer!

R.I.P. Summer. :rose:

So glad the jury saw things (IMO) correctly here. LWOP for him is fine with me. They were all involved; therefore, equally guilty, again IMO. The rest of their sentences will come when they face final judgment.

R.I.P. Summer.

In Florida you can pull 15+ for stealing a 'home theater' system. Ohio appears to be a tough state to live in, far easier to kill in. The Inman clan are the scum of the earth, yet not one will face the DP; in this instance I am glad to be in Florida.

Ohio is not tough to live in, jmo. I also think it is ok for someone to get Life and have to think about how they got there for the rest of their lives. And, another thing is they don't get all the automatic appeals that would cost us millions and keep them in the public eye. It's all right by me for them to just sit in jail and fade from our view.
I think they all got what they deserved. :seeya:

And, I agree, they are all scum.

Thanks imamaze for keeping us updated on this. You rock!
