VERDICT is IN!! #1

@ danabrams : I don't believe #JodiArias should get the death penalty. This case does not represent "worst of the worst."

How much worse did it have to be? Jeez.

I cannot even compute this mentality, I just can't. It shows there is an idiot in every crowd.

This is the only case where we have before and after pics, proof of pre med., I mean the evidence is over whelming, literally finger pointing for murder in the first degree.

I'll end on a good note as the jury did - she got M1.

I don't want to live in a socierty where it is OK to slash ones throat, shoot him, stab him in the back over two dozen times, but most of all have no remorse or care about taking ones life. JA should never see the light of day as long as she lives, errrr because of JA herself.

Willmott may have expected this verdict but JA did not. These narcissists think they can fool everybody. She really thought there would be a hung jury or conviction on a lesser charge. I've watched the verdict being read out about 20 times. By the end of the week I'll have watched it 500 times. I like it.

It was so debasing ..

Lawyers seen staggering around in the back alley .. Nurmi later found huddled in a cubicle in the mens bathroom crying, Wilmott now heading out to the club.

Along with the Mit specialist in her fancy dress and stiletto heels

And the death penalty is on the table!

BTW - Oklahoma! was the only other movie, beside Around the World In 80 Days that was shot in 30 frames per second Todd-AO (American Optics) - that's why it looks so good.

Gordon MacRae was also the only other person, besides Jackie Gleason, that President Nixon took to view the bodies that were recovered from the flying saucer that crashed at Roswell in 1947.

Are you kidding me? She is going to give an interview? GAH! Now I can't even enjoy my post-verdict toast in peace. Geez she is an attention #$*&)...
I won't be watching it. The next time I see that convicted murderer, it will be during the sentencing phase.

I'll believe it when I see all appeals dropped ...

I heard the bonding thing too. Huh? Did they not listen to the jury questions? The jury - the people who chose the verdict (emphasis for silly TH's) - asked questions about her lying, manipulating and controlling by damn near every witness the defense produced.

If I've bonded with someone, I'm unlikely to ask their mental health expert (or several) if the defendant might have manipulated them. ;)

I've thought all along that the media is suffering a severe case of Casey Anthony verdict reaction -- maybe more severe than the posters here. They're supposed to be knowledgeable I guess is how they look at it. Kind of stupid on their part, to swing all the way opposite. I'm curious how they're going to explain it all now.

I haven't posted much about this case but I have been following closely. Very pleased with the verdict (especially after I was so disappointed in the Casey Anthony verdict).

Here's why I think the death penalty might be appropriate. I do realize there are probably "worse" cases, but this one is nevertheless pretty bad. Premeditated and overkill - stabbing over and over, shooting, slashing his throat from ear to ear. She clearly feels no remorse and had no concern for his suffering. Life without parole would, I guess, protect the rest of us from her, but I resent having to pay to take care of her all those years.

Tink

WOW! This woman has no shame. I cannot believe she is doing media before the sentencing is complete. She has learned NOTHING from all this circus. I am now more convinced than ever that a "high IQ" does not equal intelligence.

Her IQ isn't that high. I almost fell over when I saw she did an interview. Does this witch never learn? Surely her attorneys didn't ok that!

More manipulation by Jodi Arias. Thinking if she claims she wants to die they won't give her the death penalty. MOO of course.

I don't know how Jodi can say anything in her defense. If she gets up there claiming self defense, the jury has already said they don't believe that, and if she says she did it, but begs for mercy, doesn't that screw up her appeal, for I'm not guilty? I don't really see what she has to offer to the jury.

Watch her blame it on her attorneys. She wanted to tell what really happened but they told her to claim self defense. And then they brought in experts that were imcompetent. Boo hoo hoo. None of this was HER fault.

Welp, I'm back from Starbucks, celebrating the verdict with a strawberry frap, since the murderer won't be having one for a looooooooong time (if ever!)
(Sorry, I know that's spiteful!) The best part is, I don't even like this drink, ha!

can anyone confirm if the murderess'(i can call her that now right?! please don't TO me :( ) interview is showing at 5pm AZ time?

I appreciate Beth Karas so much. She clearly explains what we should expect over the next few weeks.

I only have one question-where was Nurmi today? If this has been answered I must have missed it! Anyone?

I'm pretty sure I saw Nurmi's girth pass by the camera when the judge called all counsel to the bench after the verdict was read. The camera I saw was so tight in on Jodi's face that I only caught a bit of JW with her before that.
