Chris Jeffries was arrested then bailed in the Joanna Yeates case.
I don't think the grandmother had anything to do with it - SH probably said she did it so they had to arrest and question her. Bail is then routine.
It always seemed that Hazell had no opportunity to get rid of a body. So given there was no sighting of her anywhere else Tia was most likely in the house somewhere - whether alive or dead. Why on earth did it take police a week to find her? Really very hard to understand :shakehead:
As soon as I heard about the cell phones I felt certain the parents (one or both) knew what had happened to Lisa. The cadaver dog searches only strengthened that belief. Having enough to go to court though might be difficult if both of them keep their mouths shut.
The cellphones told me there was only ever one conclusion to be reached. Now the cadaver dog searches have further confirmed that belief.
Trouble is how will LE be able to prove anything unless someone blabs? This could well go the same way as the Madeleine McCann case.
Yes innocent people would have no reason not to cooperate. If you're innocent the police are not a threat because to charge and prosecute there needs to be evidence - and if you're innocent there would be no evidence simple as that.
