I don't think the coroner gave an estimated time of death, as I can't find anything in the coroner's report about it. I think it is really hard to give an exact estimate of TOD, because the bodies were positioned in the water, and all kinds of factors play a role in how fast the decomposition...

I agree with Userid on this one. It's obvious that RC could not have gone to his school after the bodies were discovered, but before school let out. I also don't think that the WMPD would have told the parents of SB and CB that their children had died before their bodies had been discovered...

That might be true, but who's to say that they didn't went to church earlier than usual on that Wednesday night? I don't really agree that 18:30 is a fixed time, especially since they told their story 16 years or so after the event.

There is one problem with this scenario: the bodies of SB and CB weren't found until 2:56 and 2:59 PM respectively (it's in the crime scene notes). I assume that the parents were notified after that. If school let out at 3 PM, and RC only heard about the discovery after that, JCB's story can not...
