    GUILTY WA - Tariq, 56, Sultana, 56, & Basma Rafay, 20, murdered, Bellevue, 13 July 1994

I'm kind of shocked that most people seem to believe their guilt. It reminds me of all the time I spent looking into the Meredith Kercher case - I feel like Sebastian, like Amanda, has a personality that people are put off by which does not help his case. All of the reasons that people give for...

There are quite a few different types of lock here in Europe. Looking at the cottage, it looked pretty old fashioned so I suspect it would have been mortice deadlocks.

I always assumed they were both in her bag. I don't know very many people of MKs age who wouldn't take their phone(s) everywhere with them. I certainly took both my phones with me everywhere on my year abroad.

OK, firstly, the two other people who reported a scream are consistently referred to as liars, so I am not sure why in this case you choose to believe that information. Secondly, as previously noted, it's not really much of a coincidence that people would talk about a scream as part of a...

That may be true of American bath mats. Not so much here in Europe. Just look at the photos and you'll see its basically just a small, thin towel.

You seem to be suggesting 2 things: 1. That there is a bias regarding nationality 2. That there is not sense in questioning authority I find these equally troubling.

No, but there are sides on an internet forum. Particularly this one of all threads. You can deny that as much as you like, but there are pages and pages of what is effectively two sides hashing it out. Quibbling over terminology doesn't really get us anywhere.

So that's a 'no' then... right, well that was productive! :floorlaugh:

I do understand your frustration with this. But can you not understand the perspective of the other side at all? I think it's important for us all to keep the other side in mind and to try to understand it.

That's simply not the case. There are plenty of examples of people being falsely convicted of serious crimes. Therefore, justice is not always limited to the decision of the courts. This is why many of us argue with various rulings. Conviction = Guilt is not always applicable. I...

I like to think I don't. But that may be self deception.
