Like many, also curious on proximity of his items to her body.
An alternate reason for his important items to be on the beach is if she was in the water alive and he took them out before getting in the water to either try to save her/coax her out. Or if either of them were not doing well...
Thank you for this, well said. WS is filled with cases where multiple victims of all sorts of ages, sex, fitness level, etc have been restrained or other wise harmed by a single perpetrator.
Thanks for the follow up that answers my question (got the phone, no video)! What a horrible thing for someone to do to her family. People are heartless.
For those of you wanting to look at the fanny pack logo AND believe it could be a local, you may want to check it against the logo of local businesses.
A cheapie nylon fanny pack is something I can see being given out as a promotional freebie by a local insurance office, school, banks, etc.
I looked a bit, and has there been any actual confirmation that the police have the physical phone in hand vs. the data being retrieved from a cloud/app service? The MSM articles allude to the data from the phone but I don't see anything stating it was retrieved physically, unless I am just not...
My assumption on this was that the girls were prominently featured to help jog any memory of witnesses from the park that day that maybe saw the girls, their actions, etc.
Along these lines, a potential add to the list:
-A ruse pretending to have have broken through one of the boards or otherwise been stuck/in danger on the bridge.
That is something that could have drawn the girls in closer despite the dangers of the bridge, if they felt someone's safety was at...
This is a very good point. Sometimes people seem very quick to jump to the idea of foul play, but this tragic incident really illustrates how simple accidents can happen out of the blue.
I hope they find her soon, for her family's sake. :(
As so many people will come back and say about various cases...this is the case that got me to register here. Now on the anniversary of the crime, I am so saddened to see so little progress. I hope her son is doing well and Jessica is at peace.
Sowders boyfriend yearns for his girlfriend and their unborn child. She always wanted a kiss, so soft. I dont know where Melissa is at. Where are you? Sanford said Saturday.
That is one of the weirdest quotes I have seen in a case like this....
Article also quotes her father regarding...
Maybe they have some information that leads them to believe it was the result of an accident or other unintended incident that someone was involved in and tried to cover up? An overdose, accidental shooting, etc. There just isn't a lot of information here considering it sounds horrific, and the...
I can certainly see the resemblance.
I am curious why people have been so quick to dismiss this idea. There are almost NO details about this missing person, no familial insight, no reason to even list why he was reported missing.
Not saying it's this guy, but with such little information...
And here is the link...interesting: http://abclocal.go.com/ktrk/story?section=news/in_focus&id=9308674
Since she implies that she had a close relationship with Henley, I am curious how much she has been questioned about the un-ided victims. People Henley may have chilled with, locations that...
She seems a little out of the age range, both physically and with the things found with the subject here. Has a thread been started on Charlotte in the missing forums? In regard to the clothing/possessions, that is also what makes me thing Yulia is out of the question..it just doesn't seems to...
I had to second Elfrieda Knaak, the 'girl in the furnace' case. The story is so bizarre.
How did she get in the furnace? Did someone put her there? Did she do it to herself? I mean, this story has it all....
Mysterious deathbed statements! Creepy spiritual gurus! Random security...
Thank you for posting this. Nikki sounds like she was an amazing young mind...the stories focusing on her life rather than dwelling on the murder are awesome but super depressing at the same time. Shame there is such a lack of information/details on this case....
Just catching up on this case, but the idea above is very legit.
My cousin was deliberately run down and killed in a college bar neighborhood by a guy that was intoxicated and thought my cousin was a guy he had an argument with in one of the bars. The guy was eventually caught bc he and his...
