I agree - some of the theories are a little out there, but then some do make sense. I'll definitely be following this one until there's some sort of resolution.
I'd be very curious about that too. I remember reading an article somewhere that said two garments were taken from either Libby or Abby (article didn't say which girl), and while the article also did not say *what* the two garments were, my mind automatically went to thinking the perp took her...
I read it in one of the articles that was posted awhile back. She also alludes to it when they are with the police, she said something like "he doesn't think I can do it," or something to that effect.
This isn't the article I read it in, but this one does reference it:
Who is Gabby Petito...
That one isn't any newer than a 2014. They changed body styles in 2015. Looks to be a v6 car as well; those can be purchased for pretty reasonable prices.
Yup. I'm also willing to bet they'll be on a tac channel that the general public does not have access to. It always irritates me when I'm listening to something and they tell the cops/EMS/firefighters to switch to a tac channel lol. But I realize it's for a good reason.
It would appear that the trail cam guy was on private property, and wouldn't want to out himself for trespassing. It could also be a homeless person who was just passing through and doesn't have any access to the news to where he'd know what was going on. There are lots of people out there who...
That's what is bugging me. Yesterday they said they had exhausted all avenues of searching in that preserve and were finished searching there. I'm wondering if they got a credible tip from someone...
Let's hope so. It will be very helpful if a camera or eyewitness is able to place BL in that van on 9/1. I keep hoping maybe some convenience store footage or something like that will pop up.
Unfortunately, it does not prove that BL was the driver. Unlike what you might see on CSI/NCIS/etc, these license plate readers do not normally create images with a high enough clarity to be able to see the driver in great detail.
Yes. It's part of the Miranda rights that are read to a person when they're being arrested. "Anything you say can and will be used against you in a court of law." It might not always be spoken exactly like this, but it will always be pretty similar.
I agree! Also, it probably would've been a lot safer for a decent-sized man to be out walking around more so than it would've been for someone as petite as Gabby. Any good man would never allow a woman they love to get out of the vehicle and walk, especially when they're not even in their hometown.
Once again, the court system proves it's about money more than protecting the general public. SMH. This guy should not have had the privilege of seeing the light of day ever again with that many felonies. I feel awful for the cops who work so hard to make a solid case only to have some judge or...
