The woman nicknamed the "Internet Black Widow" for her ability to persuade grieving widowers to marry her has been charged with attempted murder in Nova Scotia.
Melissa Weeks, 77, is also charged with attempting to poison her husband under Section 245 of the Criminal Code, known as "administering a noxious thing." She was scheduled to appear in Sydney provincial court on Tuesday.
Her current husband, a recent widower, became violently ill just days after the couple married.

She sounds like such a lovely old lady, doesn't she? :what:
Here is a link to an earlier piece...a timeline of her crimes.

The last item in the timeline (2009) was that she lived alone in Nova Scotia and had so far made good on a promise to stay out of trouble.
Obviously that didn't stick! Lock this woman up for good. (I can't believe she only got 6 years for drugging and running over a previous husband.)
