Capitol police probing reports of gunfire

WASHINGTON - Police sealed off the Capitol on Friday after receiving reports of gunfire in a House office building across the street.

Capitol police are investigating "the sound of gunfire in the garage level of the Rayburn House Office BHuilding," said an announcement on the internal Capitol voice alarm system.

Just saw this on our local news. My sister works nearby, I'll seee if I can find out any info.
 
The F.B.I Terrorism taskforce and the D/C. Special Opps are investigating reports of shots fired at Capitol Hill this morning . Four ambulances are on the scene according to FOX news ; and staff are hiding in offices .
No other details are known .
 
My disaster sister is a part of the DC emergency personnel.

She said the best way to keep on top of it is at this radio station. She said they are right there and they report on everything right away.

yes, Floh I am, listening to the same. Really on the spot reporting. I have to remember this for future DC activity.
Even though my sister gets paged with everything that's going on, she said she can stay up to date through this station because they are right there.

Gosh, the bleeding spokeswoman doesn't have information.

They received ONE phone call this morning reporting this.
