Did anyone see this on PrimeTime 1/29? ABC had Patricia Cornwell investigate the crash. (She's a crime writer).

She believes the brakes may have been tampered with, as one possibility.

I know there was a Di thread somewhere but I couldn't find it.

BTW Cornwell also thinks she has solved the Ripper case but I read her book and she didn't persuade me.

I caught just the tail end of the interview. I wasn't totally convinced about the brakes being tampered with...I'm still not so sure it wasn't just an accident. What was that saying, "sometimes a cigar is just a cigar?"

However, I did read her Ripper book, and I thought she made a very credible case therein.

So, great minds can think differently, no? :woohoo:

PS I have to add, though, that the Muslim factor to me is significant enough to make me believe some of the conspiracy theories are plausible...

It may not have been a planned murder, but there may have been scrambling by intelligence agencies after the fact...
