Dear fellow Websleuths,
This is a sad thing that happened here this month.
A dog was tasered.
This poor dog did not stand a chance being owned by druggies and then getting a taser strike and dying.

I do not know how far away they were from the dog. The farther away the taser is from the dog, the wider the area of shock is gained. The area in between the probes is where the charge goes through and into the body. If the taser was shot from about 8 feet away, it have a gap between each probe of 16 inches. That is a very large area on a dog. Also, there is more than one charge that is sent out to incapacitate. There are auto shocks that are sent to ensure that the probes cannot be ripped out.

I feel very bad for the way that dog had to live and die.

As do I, but the sad fact is that he was probably abused during his lifetime and is now free from that lifestyle.

Dearest Jeana,:blowkiss:
Yes, you are right about that.
Thank-you very much for the post.
