When a demolition crew arrived to tear down a fire destroyed flower shop, they found 1-year-old Smoka (interesting name) alive 4 weeks after a fire.

Poor Smoka. I'm so glad she seems to be okay. Although it doesn't sound like her owner took her to the vet since she said she "seems" to be okay.

I heard one time, not sure where, that in a catastrophe (such as a tornado, fire, etc.) a cat will hide nearby, but a dog will run.

I wish they had posted a picture of Smoka.
