You can see the creek in this news video and get a better feeling for the area around the cabins. It was beautiful, but I wonder if the cabin had heat or a bathroom. And it doesn't look like it has windows. To me it is more of a shed than a cabin.

Found another answer

"Cummins and Elizabeth stayed inside the tiny cabin for two nights, he said, with no running water or electricity. "

Ugh. Bless her heart - this cannot be the life she thought she was getting into. No bathroom? No electricity? No 15 year old wants to deal with that.

So, is the needed refill of the "blood pressure medication" that pharmacies were supposed to be on the lookout for and the Cialis prescription one and the same?
Yes this medication is given for multiple purposes... blood pressure bring one of them.

On this link above, scroll down to a video that I had not seen before. There are two videos at the link. The second one is about 6 minutes long, and is from today and includes new information and interview with TBI spokesperson. He will have to be formally charged with Federal charges (in addition to the others today at 11 am Pacific) before he leaves California.

In that video, at about 2:03 in, they show a pic of ET...is she wearing the same flannel type shirt she had on in the Walmart video?

The attorney said he believes the pair had intended to keep driving northwest. Maps were found in Cummins' car for both San Francisco and Baltimore.

Cummins will appear in court for the first time at 10am Pacific Standard Time.

He has been charged with aggravated kidnapping and sexual contact with a minor in Lawrence County, Tennessee. The aggravated kidnapping charge carries an eight to 12 year sentence.

In Siskiyou County, California, where the cabin is located, he may be charged with kidnapping and possession of stolen property, pending review by the county's district attorney.

The US State Attorney's Office for the Middle District of Tennessee has also filed a federal charge of transportation of a minor across state lines with intent of having criminal sexual intercourse. That charge alone has a mandatory minimum sentence of ten years in prison.

Does anyone have an idea of where they would have had her last night? Every time I read that she's in "custody," I hope and pray that it was in a hotel or home with a real bed.

I have no idea what support groups other areas have but we have a very nice "Home" here just for sexual assault victims. It has a medical examining room, interview room but also has private quarters, private bathroom, kids play room etc. It is used right after a victim is found or comes for help. It is all done by medical volunteers, LE and a local foundation. It is supposed to be much more comfortable than a hospital or jail. (As far as interviews by police etc.) I have only seen pics but it seems like an amazing place. I hope other cities have this as well.

He didn't pay with a credit card, so LE wasn't alerted..

I hadn't thought about that. The last hotel I stayed in, a Best Western, I think it was, required a credit card on file to book and stay in the room that night.

The arrest affidavit states specifically what the medication was prescribed to TC for and it was not his blood pressure. Very clever of police to downplay that prescription when still seeking to locate the abductor and his victim. I am glad that the affidavit listed only those facts necessary to place charges against TC and that it was not terribly detailed. It allows for a bit of dignity for the victim in this case. All the ugly will come out ot trial (recalling AH case) but at least by them ET will have had some time and distance and opportunity to rebond with family and get some help dealing with all the trauma she has had in life.

How wasn't he found sooner since he was using his real name and staying in major hotel chains?!

Keep in mind the AA was not nationwide. I was in Kansas City 2 weeks ago. I got an AA for a different case on my phone. When we arrived back to hotel (Holiday Inn Express) there was an AA fax/email (w/pics) that had been sent to the hotel. But this AA was not nationwide and early on it was only in TN & AL.

stolen property?

I would think the license plates he had would be the stolen property

What a great trail of breadcrumbs that she collected for the investigators to be working on, even before any interview. Smart girl she was to document their travels, in her own way. Who knew that a bunch of rocks would play out in a criminal case. I have a friend that is 65 years old, and whenever I travel outside of the US, he too collects and asks me to bring back rocks.

"Investigators also recovered two loaded handguns and a collection of stones marked with the names of locations where the two had presumably stopped during their travels, Lopey said."

He'd be smart to plead guilty and start serving time.

Sounds like she's disconnected from this. That's actually healthy and necessary. This has been very traumatic and disconnecting can be a good thing. Start with the basics, get her some good food, rest and hot shower and let her have a chance to just breathe. Can't even begin to say how wonderful it was to go to sleep last night knowing she was finally safe. It's going to take her a while to feel safe, and until then she's going to be all over the place. I'd be concerned if she wasn't vacillating.

While reading your post, I thought about ET and her going to sleep last night and her feeling safe. I am curious if ET would have spent the night in a hospital or if law enforcement (such as FBI) has a place for victims to stay while waiting to go home. What do you think?

Speaks to his arrogance that he showed up at Black Bear Ranch feeling entitled, and then got pissed off when he was rejected. Kinda like knocking on a strangers door and demanding they let you come in and live with them for free.

I believe the Federal filing showed he only got 5 or 6 Cialis pills in the refill. I am not familiar with that Rx, but that doesn't seem like dosage for a daily med does it? IMO

If so, then I sure hope my husband never needs that medication, or we're going to be driving into town ALOT. ;)
