ORLANDO -- A 19-year-old man, who had claimed to be in a cell beside the one where Casey Anthony is staying had claimed that she had confided in him about the disposition of her 2-year-old daughter. According to the 19-year-old, Anthony had said her daughter was with her ex-boyfriend.
Orange County officials dismissed the account swiftly. They noted that the 19-year-old and Casey Anthony were never in the same place long enough to do more than exchange a word or two in passing, and that would have been within earshot of the people guarding the 22-year-old mother. It should also be noted that Casey Anthony is being held in a different area of the jail from the one where the 19-year-old man was held, making it impossible for the two to have held a conversation. snip**
