About the photo..

Can't imagine it was LE taking it ...did GZ ask someone to take it for him? What is chain of custody of this photo and how/why was it obtained/released now?

Why is the upper limit of the bloodied area straight horizontally? Was he wearing a baseball cap?
The top of his head above the red border is whited out.

In the words of Cindy Anthony, "There's something wrong."

ABCnews has posted a photo of GZ with blood on the back of his head. I now would like to see the sidewalk where his head was laying.

from the link:

The person who took the photograph of a bloodied Zimmerman, asking not to be identified, told ABC News exclusively that they did not see the scuffle that night, but did hear it. The person recalled seeing Martin's prostrate body on the wet grass and said the gunpowder burns on Martin's gray hoodie were clearly visible.

The photographer said that after the shooting, Zimmerman asked the photographer to call his wife. When the photographer asked him what to say, Zimmerman blurted out, "Man, just tell her I shot someone."

If the gunpowder burns were visible on Trayvon's back (since he was face down), would that mean he was shot in the back????

I believe it shows that he was shot at very close range.

MOO.

He was on top of TM...he wasn't wearing a hat when escorted to the police station...

Blood drips down, not horizontally, unless he was lying on his side..that's the only way I can see it flowing that way..

I still feel this might be doctored..You know, I don't trust GZ...I find him to be incredible...after the mini western dialogue...:maddening:

Something just isn't right here...a bystander who supposedly overheard, but did not actually see an altercation, went to the scene and immediately thought to take a photo of GZ'z injuries - 3 minutes after the shooting? Well I guess that answers one question, obviously no lifesaving measures were taken on Trayvon.

Good point. Although the photographer doesn't say the burns were on his back, we know that is the position of the body. Who would take this photo? If it was someone who just happened on the scene -- wouldn't they take a photo of the body? I'm thinking this photo was taken by a good friend of GZ.

How would this person know what GZ's wife's phone number is?

We know by the probable cause affidavit, TM was shot in his chest...TM was lying face down, so how did he see the GSR on his back? Not buying what they're selling...

So, this is not LE who took the photo, then I doubt the authenticity of it and the time frame. It could have been days later, doctored photo...

Asked that same person to call his wife...man, just tell her I shot someone...Wow, really???

It still collaborates the police report that there was blood dripping down the back of his head.

If not true, there is someone going through a lot of trouble to not only put fake info on a police report, but to produce a fake photograph with dripping blood and produce a enhanced video still which shows red marks on his head.

I would many of us would have taken that photo if we lived in the area. I know I would have.

I believe GPS on the phone verifies the photo being taken at the scene and at the time soon after the shooting took place.

MOO.

How would this person know what GZ's wife's phone number is?

It could be that GZ told him or loaned his phone or they were prior acquaintances.

Hope I never have to make that phone call. "Hey I'm here with your husband and he just killed somebody, have a good day."

How would this person know what GZ's wife's phone number is?

I would think that GZ gave it to him??

I know when I was in a car accident years ago the first thing out of my mouth was "call my mother" after which I gave them her phone number.

IMO.

OK key words here, prostrate body (face down) on the wet grass.
gunpowder burns on Martin's gray hoodie were clearly visible.

There would be no gunpowder burns on TM's back if he was shot in the chest as has been reported.

The key will be to verify when exactly the photo was taken. The only way to do this is from testimony from the EMT that saw exactly what we are seeing in the photo.

This is what happens when no information (EMT report) is released. The jump to conclusion is to automatically assume it's a fake because nothing else has been released to support it. Add in a low resolution video that didn't appear to show injuries.
