2010.12.10 - Hearing

I had a little epiphany this morning when I was sitting reading all the news sites and thinking - WTH? :waitasec: Where's the excitement about the developments in this case? Where's the razor sharp on-point reporting? Those who managed to drag out a comment or two about the hearing weren't even accurate in what they said. :furious: HHJP did everything but walk over to Ashton and give him a big gold star and a pat on the head, before walking over to Baez and pasting a big F on his forehead and clipping him behind the ear.:woohoo:

And the courtroom was almost empty. Sure there were a couple of lawyers there, and CA plus friend, and a few of Baez's juniors and the rest were -um- bloggers! So I thought to myself - wait a minute - who's driving this case? Sure, the wheels of justice are turning, slowly but they are turning, but the public in general seems to have lost interest - as in guilty....next!

So WHO is driving this case - keeping it alive for Justice For Caylee??? It's us!! No life Bloggers. Nothing Better to Do Bloggers!! Loser Bloggers!!! The media reports on the Caylee case because WE (and those like us on sites out there) would be screaming if they didn't. And the media is afraid of the power of our "screaming". I mean when Ashton makes cracks in court I think it's sort of sweet, and then it hit me. It's true...WE are driving this case.

That's freakin' amazing!!! Well, to me it's freakin' amazing!!!

:gold_crown: This is for us Websleuths!!

I am disgusted that this is considered an "article" from a "reporter." It reads like an almost-mediocre post in the comments section on some random inferior "news" site.

Like, if that article was a post here, I would soooo not be clicking "thanks."

Thanks for the eye-rolling link, though, sumbunny:) Methinks the author of the article has a wee l'il crush on a certain inmate.

True, but the author did somewhat redeem himself with the next line.

"After the hearing she was taken right back to the Orange County Jail."

You know what LogicalGirl ~ You are 100% right, dead on, nailed it.

It IS the bloggers and various forums that have kept this up front and center.
The people that run their blogs and explain things in laymans terms for everyone so that things can't be pulled over our eyes.

People like MusicMan that takes his time to go to the court house and retrieve motions and paperworks to share, so that nothing gets slipped by or brushed under a rug.

It is members of this forum and others that go to each hearing that they can, and ARE noticed.
They are noticed because of where they sit ~ Thank God for them also.

Had the Anthony's not made such arses of themselves, with their constant lies and contridictions; or the many "face times" that everyone took, this case most likely would have wafted off in to the sunset.
They and the all mighty dream team could have gotton away with tons of things, IMO.

But, this case, as the defense team and the Anthony's have made it, will never go away.
There will always be someone around to make sure that Caylee's best interests are taken to heart.

In the off chance, that Casey would ever be up for parole, I have no doubt that there would be numerous,y No Life Bloggers sitting in that parole room being a voice for Caylee, then, just as many have now ~

I know that I would love to go to the trial, and, have thought seriously about doing so.

Thank you so much for saying what I left out and specifically thanking those who deserve special notice. You are so right. I guess this morning was the first time I was really aware of the huge impact this individual effort by everyone is making in this case.

Has anyone else noticed that George does not attend hearings anymore? I have also noticed and heard others note that CA no longer wears her wedding band anymore. I am just curious , it just may be that GA has come into his own thinking instead of following CA's cue?:waitasec:

George's absence, no rings and CA's statement claiming all is well in CAGALand before anyone asked - has us all :waitasec: and questioning if GA has seen the writing on the jail house wall.. We can only hope! :innocent:

Whoops - my speed reading came out as CACALand :blushing:

Just maybe, maybe! GA has finally faced the truth! In his interviews he seems genuine when speaking of his daughters problems. I think from the beginning he knew KC was guilty, but CA put out what she was selling and Ga had to agree to it to stay in Cindy's good graces. I'll bet he is sick of it and hopefully told her where to go!

I told my daughter just that after the hearing!! If not actually going, then taking vacation time to follow the trial on tv. I imagine, though, the trial will last a long time...so maybe it makes more sense to be there when she's sentenced. If I was there, I think I'd break out in song! That day can't happen soon enough!!

I do believe G.A. has had it.Hope I'm right.

I just LOVE the fact that without really directing any comments to JB & Co. that the judge was able to render JB utterly speechless..It looked as if he was barely able to even nod his head! :gavel::gavel::gavel:

To ICA and JB..Have A GOOD WEEKEND while you're nursing that humiliating smackdown you received in court today! :rolling::rolling::rolling:..

and for Caylee..Justice is coming sweetheart..it may be slow, but it's coming..:(..
...and still, after the hearing he had to continue the charade . I really do get the whole game that lawyers play...but now is not the time. Trial is less than half a year away...it's time to get serious!!

Mine too and believe me I was VERY careful when writing that! (CAGA - CACA - Deep DoDo) It just seems appropriate, no matter how it is spelled!

Video Report - Baez after today's hearing!

http://www.cfnews13.com/video?clip=...wsvideo/cfn/1210CaseyHearing_121020101047.flv

He's explaining why today was such a waste and how much it cost!

Whereas Mr. Baez interprets costs to maintain the safety of ICA as a waste ( 4 deputies to escort her and stand guard), I believe the State of Florida didn't blink. Ahem....Mr. Baez.....not all the guards are there to prevent any actions by your "girl"....but instead are there to protect her from those vigilante citizens you have eluded to in previous news "soundbites".

In your words, Mr. Baez...KC is high profile and has been tried in the court of public opinion. Why would you now discount safety measures put in place for her benefit???? Why would you dismiss them as a waste of taxpayer money?

This comment would be downright laughable if it weren't so pathetic.

Perhaps Mr. Baez should have reserved comment until after he managed to remove his tail from between his legs. JMO

Where this post lands is random.

Looks like we've reached the entertainment/rant phase of the thread. Closing for now. If there are elements of the hearing that warrant focused discussion, please gen a topic-specific thread.

TIA.
