Perry called the emergency hearing today to discuss two motions: the defense's objection to the new venue and the one filed by George and Cindy Anthony to attend the trial.
Details about why he filed or withdrew the objection, which is sealed, were not made public. Defense attorneys say they are not allowed to discuss the matter.
Mark Lippman, argued to allow George and Cindy Anthony to stay in the courtroom for the duration of the trial even though they are considered key witnesses and may be subject to sequestration.
Anthony's defense team objected.
Both the state and the defense said they plan to call the couple on numerous occasions to testify during the trial slated to begin with opening statements on May 17 if a jury is seated.

George and Cindy Anthony not sure why Casey does not want them in court,
Lippman said it's not clear whether Casey is making that decision or if it's a defense ploy.
New depositions were released today.
Cindy Anthony scheduled a visit at 9 a.m. Saturday with Casey Anthony at the Orange County Jail, said corrections spokesman Allen Moore.
