Casey Anthony murder trial continues Tuesday June 15. @ 9AM

June 14, 2011

ORLANDO, Fla. -- Prosecutors may rest their case against Casey Anthony on Tuesday afternoon, barring any unforeseen delays.

Casey Anthony bought the tattoo "Bella Vita," the first week of July 2008, while claiming she was out looking for Caylee Anthony.

speculation centers on Casey's jailhouse confidante Robyn Adams to whom Anthony wrote in a secret letter that all single parents want to pursue their freedom.

The jailhouse letters could also open the door for the defense that Anthony was sexually abused as a child.

ORLANDO, Fla. -- The prosecution called its final witness in its case against Casey Anthony on Tuesday afternoon.

Jurors heard from Bobby Williams, the tattoo artist who inscribed Anthony with the words “bella vita” in July 2008.

Williams testified that Anthony appeared happy and did not appear to be grieving a missing daughter.

Cindy testified Tuesday that duct tape was also in the home, stored in the garage, but she could not recall making a previous statement that duct tape was used at a command center after Caylee went missing.
Baez pointed out that in a July 2009 deposition, Cindy Anthony was asked whether Casey Anthony had removed any duct tape from the home while out of jail on bond and said she didn't think so, as the family had only one roll and her husband was using it. Cindy Anthony explained that at the time, both she and her husband were using the tape on "no trespassing" signs on their property because of protesters outside.

Jurors sent a note to Perry asking to see the photograph of the sticker recovered from the crime scene.

Prosecutors said Tuesday they plan to tie up several loose ends and then rest their case Wednesday.

The defense is expected to file a customary motion saying the the state did not do its job in presenting enough evidence for first-degree murder.
