Court authorized wire tap... August 2011. Primary focus was to intercept Josh/Steven phone calls.
Extended to October 2011. During this time search warrant at SP's house was executed.

We focused on SP until such a time that a determination was made that most likely he didn't have anything to do with Susan's disappearance.

Josh planned and prepared to murder his two boys with own hands before burning their innocent bodies.
He never showed any signs that he would hurt the boys. (I disagree... but whatever.)

Another family member, Michael Powell was heavily investigated as possibly being involved.
He became a primary focus. A significant amount of communication occurred between Josh and MP... encrypted internet messages.
Some were intercepted and some were not able to be deciphered.

A complete and thorough investigation was conducted on MP's vehicle.
A specialized search dog alerted on MP's vehicle in the junkyard.
DNA results in the trunk did not match Susan's profile.
MP was very uncooperative.

Michael Powell committed suicide right after the investigation into the Oregon property began.
With both Josh and Michael committing suicide, many of the details have left this world with them.

The focus now and will continue to be to find Susan and bring closure to the Cox family.
The recent Oregon search was conducted with that goal.

Unfortunately nothing was found. Interviews were conducted with family members and it was concluded they had no involvement.
