MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) - It's been more than five weeks now since 14-year-old Brittany Robinson's mother has seen her daughter.
The United States Marshals Service is searching the Fort Smith area for a missing teenager believed to be taken by her father from Mobile, Ala.

MOBILE, Alabama A judge Tuesday denied bail to a man accused of failing to return his daughter to her home after taking her during a visit over the summer.
"We have that open case involving Brittney Wood, obviously, there are some circumstances that led to Baldwin County back over to Mobile and we still haven't located," said Cpl. Chris Levy.
Levy said the second case is that of 14-year-old Brittany Robinson.

MOBILE, Ala. (WPMI) Nearly one year after her disappearance, the mother of missing teen Brittany Robinson hoped a burnt field in west Mobile County held some sort of clue.
Circumstances of Disappearance: Police believe that Robinson was last seen at the home of her father, Demetric Hooper. Her father strongly denies any involvement in his daughters disappearance. Authorities have detained Hooper without bail since late last year on a charge of interfering with custody, according to Fox News 10.
Police recently conducted a search of an area behind Hoopers home.
