Maybe I missed it elsewhere, but I thought that Nevada paroled Garrido immediately to a halfway house in Oakland, CA for three months. He then moved immediately to his mother's house in Antioch.
 
Garrido goes outside the box in so many ways. When you think of pedofiles, usually you don't think of prostitute murderers. Because they either have an attraction for kids or adults. Usually pedos have a specific age range too. Either they like little kids, prepubescent, pubescent or teens. Either boys or girls. But I hesitate to say that about PG. He has already admitted to hanging around and exposing himself to the little 6 and 7 year olds. He kidnapped and raped an adult woman. He kidnapped, raped and imprisoned and 11 year old. So he is outside any of the common thinking.

Another thing that is out of the usual box is that he included a woman in a sex crime. That is rarely seen now. But the fact that he included Nancy back then is real unusual.

I'm afraid there will be more, IMO.
I hope that when Jaycee is stronger, she will be able to tell her story what she knows from when she was kidnapped til present.
Maybe she will know of many more.
She needs time to reconnect to her normal world again.
Bless those 3 ..........what an ordeal to survive in.

interesting...I wonder how close he was to Monica DaSilva's home...if I remember correctly, she lived about 5 miles from the Chias...which would put her either 8 miles from PG OR less than 2....I will have to see if I can find more information on her.

ETA: found her address. 3.6 miles from PG's Reno address...and (possible coincidence??) her family was from California.

I have been pondering about the 4 year olds and anything else that Jaycee may know.
And I come away with only one thought...I do not think he wanted her to miss trust him...I do not think he wanted her to think anything other then he is a religious good man :rolleyes:
I doubt that Jaycee would know if he had done anything bad to another child. I think if Jaycee did meet
anyone else, and if they disappear he would tell her she went home, and he did not want her.
That he only likes Jaycee and her girls and no one else. But what do I know about the criminal mind???
It is just what I think he would do, to keep her from getting creative about escaping.

I think she has begun to tell HER story now, and the girls too...
But I doubt she can tell what else may have happened, to others.
HOWEVER: IF she had other children, I do not know what she was told may have happened. I wonder....

I think in the first several years he would/could have done just about anything. He already had a young girl held captive, so nothing else would have been that much of a leap.

Later on he may have changed because Jaycee's girls thought he was their father and he probably told JC he would hurt them if she said anything. He had his long-wanted family and could take the 2 girls anywhere without a problem.

I do not think he could take them anywhere. These girls had NO ID at all. No Birth Certificate, no SS number...
On paper they did not excist. So I doubt he can take them anywhere at all. He did take them around locally
to socialize them as he had told someone, they were schooled at home, but he is taking them around to
teach them to be social.
(he may have said this to someone at the University - I do not remember)

You can go pretty much anywhere in this country without needing a BC or a SS number, unless you're trying to get public benefits, get into public school, get a job....none of which was his concern for them.

Obviously its doubtful that each and everyone could be attributed to Garrido. It would be interesting to spreadsheet these cases and sort and rank them based on date, age, etc. and on proximity to Garrido's home or place of work to see which may be most likely.

Just an idea - - I am wondering about Jaycee's and her daughter's clothing. It occurred to me that the clothes might have been taken from other VICTIMS.

I forget in which article - - someone, perhaps a client of Garrido's printing business, commented that her clothes all seemed to be the wrong size. I've also read comments that the girls were seen wearing clothing which was too young for them, dresses in particular.

Generally, when there's a disappearance, what the missing person was wearing is mentioned. Would be interesting if those are any of the clothes we can see on the rack in the tent.
 
There was just a press conference on CNN announcing that Dublin PD has joined Hayward PD in searching the Garrido backyard for evidence in Ilene Misheloff's case, as well as Michaela Garecht. Apparently new info has come out by a witness that Ilene was spotted getting into a sedan much like Garrido's, and he was newly out on parole then. I think I'm going to be sick.:sick: If Ilene is discovered, I will go buy a bouquet of flowers and leave them at the Misheloff home.
