GUILTY Australia - Carlie Sinclair, 36, Stuart Park NT, 18 June 2013 *Arrest*

Given they have a concrete business, plus we know officers were taking samples, I'd surely think they'd have the nearby waters searched wouldn't they? Did I miss hearing that's been done? I guess I just immediately think about Laci Peterson.

BBM - Here are some places that have been searched.

December 18: "Acting on information received early on in the investigation, Detectives and members of the Territory Response Group searched bushland and water courses in the vicinity of Parap, Stuart Park and Berry Springs."

I see that Cox Peninsula Road runs through Berry Springs.

ANY water way here can have crocodiles. Darwin River Dam has crocodile traps set in it and there have been attacks on people there. People go to Berry Springs for the safe swimming holes, but it's very close to other areas that have bush land dangerous water ways.

There are a lot of river and streams around the metro area that are surrounded by bush. There aren't crocodiles LIVING in them, but they are known to move into them when they flooded. A while ago there was two children and a dog almost attacked by one playing in a local creek. There are also salt water crocs along the coast in Darwin. Heck, they end up in people's pools sometimes.

The fact they were looking near Berry Springs is concerning, but really you don't need to move out of Darwin or Palmerston to find bush land, waterways or crocs.

On the surface it does appear suspicious that someone would make the trek to Berry Springs, but people often go out there for half day trips just to swim. People here are used to driving fair distances for not very much. For example, there are three major shopping areas- Darwin, Palmerston and Casuarina. To get to our Kmart we drive 30 minutes. It's considered an average trip and one that people think nothing of doing. When we lived in a different state, a 30 minute trip would have been a day trip and not considered popping to the shop.

It always amazes me how so many people disappear when they walk away after a fight.

She didn't look very upset in the video. I'm inclined to think there wasn't much of a fight and she just left to get smokes or something at the servo. Returned to the workplace and something happened from there.

Happy Birthday Carlie.

How sad that she can't spend her birthday and Christmas with her son. Poor little guy.

There is a brief video here that tells a little more ... apparently the action taken in Supreme Court was an initiative of Danny Deacon's lawyers. There has been no-one living in Carlie's house for 'several months' and bills are not being paid, so an order has been made to sell the house, pay the bills, and put all of Carlie's remaining money into a trust for Carlie's son (which Danny can apply for access to).

Danny is apparently still living in WA.

This article says that they have apparently found Carlies gravesite

http://www.news.com.au/national/nor...e-arrested-a-man/story-fnn3gfdo-1227162080372

POLICE believe they have located the body of missing Darwin mum Carlie Sinclair, one day and 18 months since she was last seen alive at the Stuart Park business she shared with her partner Danny Deacon.
A man with information about the location of Ms Sinclair’s body was arrested in Berry Springs this morning.
He has only been back in the Northern Territory for less than 24 hours.

I read a report earlier that said when he arrived from Perth he went straight to the area that they're now searching.
Can't seem to find the article now ?
