POLICE have charged a man with murder over the death of missing Sorell mother-of-two Jodi Eaton.
Detective Inspector Tim Dooley told reporters a man would appear in court later this afternoon.
He has been charged with killing Ms Eaton at Bridgewater on February 2.
Detective Inspector Dooley said it was a sad end to the investigation.
“My heart goes out to Jodi’s family,” he said.
Two other men appeared in court today in relation to the matter, both charged with failing to report a killing and being an accessory after the fact to murder.
Police were directed to bushland in Pelham in the Upper Derwent Valley yesterday.
It is understood they have found a grave but will not comment on whether it contained Ms Eaton's remains.
POLICE have charged a Bridgewater man with murder after a body believed to be that of missing Sorell woman Jodi Michele Eaton was recovered from a shallow grave in the Derwent Valley on Thursday.
Detective Inspector Tim Dooley said police had located the apparent grave in a disturbed area of ground on a farm at Pelham, after three weeks of investigation.
Police found the remains of Ms Eaton, 28, in a bush grave at Pelham in the Central Highlands three weeks after she vanished from a party in a Bridgewater home in February.
Maxwell Douglas Morrison, 59, pleaded guilty to failing to report a killing and making a false statutory declaration.
In the Supreme Court in Hobart, Justice Helen Wood said Morrison’s nephew Darren Dobson buried Ms Eaton’s body on Morrison’s remote Pelham property.
Dobson has pleaded guilty to the 28-year-old woman’s murder and sentencing proceedings will continue next month.
