Found Deceased Australia - Julie Hutchinson, 48, Townsville, Qld, 7 March 2015 *Arrest*

Another one :gaah:

Those poor children. Another mother who has been murdered by their father. Just so sad.

They must have some very strong evidence, to charge him without having her body. Like Stephanie Scott :(

"Mrs Hutchinson was reported by Channel 7 to be a scientist at Queensland Nickel, which runs the Palmer Nickel and Cobalt Refinery 25 kilometres north-west of Townsville.

The refinery is owned by billionaire mining magnate Clive Palmer.

Mr Hutchinson reportedly runs his own security business."

The search for the body of a missing Townsville woman has entered its sixth day ....

Police are still searching for her body and a car.

They're also appealing for anyone who might have spotted the mother-of-two's silver Mazda 6 sedan to come forward.

It sounds as though Julie's car is actually completely missing. I was under the mistaken impression that they were just trying to establish the movements of the car, but in looking back at the pics of them searching a vehicle, it is a darker grey/black vehicle that they are searching - not a silver one.

I am guessing that he tried to say that Julie had left him ... and her two children.

THE family and friends of missing woman Julie Hutchinson have taken to social media to share their memories of the allegedly murdered mother-of-two.

Mrs Hutchinson’s husband has been charged with her murder but more than two months after she was last seen, her body has not been found.

A Facebook page named Julie Louise Hutchinson – “Our Jules” has been put together by her family, with hundred of people following its posts to remember the Queensland Nickel scientist.

The 47-year-old was reported missing on April 9 and her husband Michael Geoffrey Hutchinson has since been charged with her murder and interfering with her corpse.

There is a possibility that they have found Julie ......

"Acting Superintendent Geoff Marsh said identification of the skeletal remains could be completed in 24-48 hours through dental records but warned if that process was not successful investigators would have to turn to DNA analysis, which could take several weeks.

“I know that there are families who are desperate to find out the result of our discovery here on Saturday afternoon,” Supt Marsh said.

Supt Marsh said police would continue to remain in contact with families of “persons of interest” — this is understood to include the relatives of slain Condon mother Julie Hutchinson.

Herveys Range is closely associated with the 2015 disappearance of Julie Hutchinson whose husband Michael Hutchinson was last year convicted of manslaughter after a trial in the Supreme Court.

During the trial, evidence was given that Hutchinson had told his father he accidentally killed Julie and took her body up to Herveys Range but couldn’t remember where."

Rest In Peace Julie

The remains of a woman who mysteriously vanished more than three years ago have been discovered at the side of an outback road.

A skeleton was discovered on August 25 by a man off the side of Hervey Range Rd, 100km west of Townsville, in Queensland.

Following extensive testing on the bone, police were able to confirm it was the body of 48-year-old missing woman Julie Louise Hutchinson, who had been missing since April 9, 2015.

I was so angry when I posted this, so didn't want to say anything til I cooled down.

My first thought was "What! only 15 years for depriving someone of the life they could have lived"

My condolences to Julie's family and friends.

Rest in Peace, Julie.
