Found Deceased AZ - Allison Feldman, 31, Scottsdale, 18 Feb 2015 #4 *Arrest*

Maybe sexual assault was the motive to visit her, and she fought back, and it turned into a murder. Then, the killer knew they were in trouble, and tried to clean up the scene.

Yes, that's possible. Since in this case there was no reason to hide the crime scene, her murderer must have been trying to disguise his own identity - although he'd never been DNA tested or fingerprinted in the past. Perhaps he also tried to disguise shoe prints or other evidence criminals don't usually think about.

I'm sure there's many details police are holding back.

In terms of lunatic killers vs methodical ones, I'm afraid cases like Russell Williams have convinced me you can't always make thise distinctions. He broke into over 80 homes, before assaulting a couple of women in their homes, and then murdering two others in their homes. He'd was caught because of the distinctive tire tracks left in the snow by his car. Hopefully he is a very rare type of killer, but I think police are now aware of such possibilities and keep them in mind, even if it was not the case here.

New to this thread, has anyone discussed the fact that her head was wrapped with a cloth? This seems to fit the profile of someone that knew her and covered her face while cleaning up the crime scene.

Good to have someone new here... Yes, the cloth/towel around head has been discussed, but LE has not given any details... was it wrapped or simple covering her? Was it to stop bleeding, was it to do with necrophilia, was is because she had just washed her hair and had wrapped it before she was attacked, or was it like you said...

she had just washed her hair and had wrapped it before she was attacked,

This makes sense for someone who just returned from a trip. One thing I found odd after reading this news article.

"The security system records the activity anytime a window is open or closed," said McWilliams. "We know that there was a door open when the killer left the residence at approximately 1 a.m."

Why did the security system not show when the killer arrived? Could the killer have already been in the house? Could he have been hiding in a closet or something? Then he new the boyfriend would not be returning? The boyfriend leaves, AF takes a shower, wraps her head with a towel, and is then confronted by her killer?

For some reason I still think this could be someone who was working as a regular in the neighborhood, and does not live in the area, but does live in a near by town. At the time of year when this crime took place, are people still having their pools cleaned in AZ? The white powder found at the crime scene which was said to have a strong bleach smell sounds like the powder stuff people use to treat their swimming pools.

Because police have not found anything in finger print or dna data basis, I'm thinking the killer is a young person, early twenties or maybe even a teenager. I'm not sure if I buy into the serial killer who just popped into town theory.

Our alarm logs in not only doors etc that are opened but also logs in the motion sensors placed throughout our home. It doesn't matter if the alarm is on or off. I'm curious if she had the same type of system. That would enable the LE to know movement inside the house prior and after...

Police requested "voluntary" DNA samples! You have to be kidding. Do they think the killer will volunteer? LOL. This should have been done involuntarily to all the neighbors. Is it no wonder they haven't found her killer yet.

Just a thought...say the killer lived with his parents or was visiting them or a relative, wouldn't the DNA show that they were a family member of him?

I think someone said the system was bought though her cable tv company.

YES! YOU BET IT WOULD!!!!

In March, 2016 I spoke with an individual with SPD (Scottsdale PD) and at that time, the individual stated that this (AF) is the only unsolved murder in Scottsdale currently. My gut feeling is that this was someone AF knew casually (maybe for a very short period of time). Maybe nobody (not even her friends) knew about him. Maybe a fling? Maybe a co-worker or "unavailable" male whom she kept secret from even her closest friends. We know that the perp stayed at her place for a substantial period of time. I just have a hard time believing a random attacker would linger. Was this someone she may have invited over for a drink or something and things took a terrible turn??? JMO I think SPD needs to re-interview the friends, neighbors and co-workers. We need this back in the news.

BBM --- Exactly!

And just thinking OUTLOUD....here's where i get stuck these days:

Allison never had an enemy....

Allison was a burn and trauma specialist for Mölnlycke Health Care (Gothenburg, Sweden), she had recently been promoted & had just bought a new dress to take away with her on a business trip...

...A nearby surveillance camera from a home nearby supports Sukhodolov’s account.

While the court papers that have emerged do not name a suspect, police reportedly have one suspect in mind. Cited as a person who had previously contacted Feldman, the court document suggests police are monitoring this suspect.

After Feldman was murdered, police spent four days investigating the murder site for evidence. At that time, the sergeant overseeing the case was hesitant to reveal details, stating the police force wanted to avoid telegraphing their progress on the case with any suspects.

Police are also investigating Feldman’s phone records.

:justice: for Allison Feldman!!!!!!!

Yes, but did LE ever get DNA from her neighbors???

Good question. Frustrating case. I strongly feel that the neighbors need to be looked at...new neighborhood...attractive woman living alone...the fact that LE feels it might be a serial offender is concerning and the population in the area should be demanding answers...

Just bumping :bump:

...Neighbors say police have requested voluntary DNA samples, but so far no other updates have been given on the case from authorities.

Police requested "voluntary" DNA samples! You have to be kidding. Do they think the killer will volunteer? LOL. This should have been done involuntarily to all the neighbors. Is it no wonder they haven't found her killer yet.

I always thought it was a neighbor. He knew she lived alone and saw the boyfriend leave. Too convenient. I was hoping LE looked on here and saw my posts about this. I guess they gave the neighbors a pass. :(

Thanks Tara. Why would they ask for a voluntary sample. Obviously whoever gave them one would be innocent. Doesn't make one iota of sense.

It does if they don't suspect he is from the hood.

Sometimes this is done to see who will not give a voluntary sample, and who seems nervous... have seen cases where a perp tries to appear like he will give a sample and then keeps putting off...

Or if it's a family member either living or visiting that committed the crime....

I still think it is some peeper that has been watching her and entered her home during her shower.

I think it's a neighbor...knocked on the door and over powered her. Maybe right after the bf left so she opened up immediately thinking he forgot something.

His comfort level with hanging inside the house means he was confident no one would disturb him I'm shocked no one reported screaming...taser maybe?

Also confused with the cleaning...where was the DNA found? Sex assault? Why be so concerned with cleaning if you leave your DNA ...maybe under her nails?
