I found a possible candidate, but this is mostly based on the possible route the missing person's Greyhound Bus took. That is if she even got on the bus. Her name is Gwendolyn Susie King.

This article about her disappearance shows the possible route Gwendolyn's Greyhound Bus might have taken. I noticed that it passes very near Bullhead City. And in fact there's a Greyhound Bus stop in the city, but the riders hate it like everything else about Greyhound tbh

Comparison between King and Kate

• King stood 5'2"-5'4" vs Kate who's estimated height is 5'5"-5'7"
• King had red/auburn hair vs Kate had brown hair
• King was 16 when she vanished vs Kate was around 17-19 when she died
• King vanished in 1982 vs Kate is estimated to have died between 1979-1987

She's slightly off the given ranges but always just close enough that it would still make sense:

PMI: #UP 1979-1987 | #MP Jan 10th, 1988
Height: #UP 5'5"-5'7" | #MP 5'4"
Age: #UP 17-19y | #MP 23y

Pamula according to a Arizona Daily News article had lost teeth in a boating accident before she went missing and had them replaced.

Edited to say: Hair length is spot on but highlights can't be confirmed through the available photo.
Distance between last sighting and finding site is about 4 hours BUT it's basically just travel on I-40.

Also, I just wrote to Chief Trebes of Bullhead City Police because I can't get this out of my head.

It's always possible. I wonder if Pamela was missing two front teeth or more than that. It sounds like more than that, but I'm not sure. It seems like this would be an easy rule out anyway.

Since there was zero reaction from Bullhead City, I submitted Pam Ferguson info to Winslow PD via an online form as well.
