Bono's private plane sheds bits over Berlin

U2 singer Bono's private plane lost its hatch as it was coming in to land at Schonefeld Airport in Berlin, Wednesday. However, authorities say the plane landed safely and Bono 'was never in any danger'.

I guess anyone on the ground at the time was though, with heavy stuff falling through the air?

Lol, Germans have got all the technical details of course. It was a Learjet 60 (Registrierung D-CGEO)!

Last post about Germans, promise! But a German has just pointed out to me that, just supposing, someone forgot to fasten a hatch properly, the time it might come loose and get ripped off could be as pressure equalized inside and outside the jet, as it dropped altitude to land?
