California Highway Patrol applicant gets 30 years for child *advertiser censored* charges
"An El Monte man whose arrest was triggered by his application to be a California Highway Patrol officer was sentenced today to 30 years behind bars for taking pornographic photos of a toddler he was previously charged with molesting.
The information sparking the prosecution of 31-year-old Christian Clint Hernandez came to light during the CHP's pre-employment background check. During the application process, Hernandez acknowledged on an employment questionnaire that he had accessed illegal *advertiser censored* on the Internet and viewed illicit photos of a minor prior to applying for the CHP job..."

"....The CHP immediately began an investigation and searched Hernandez's home, where a sizeable collection of child *advertiser censored* in the form of 26 videos and 336 digital images was discovered on his computer..."

"...Hernandez sexually abused "multiple victims on multiple occasions," [Judge, Otis D.] Wright said, adding that the pictured children are "re-victimized every time the images are shared or copied.'' The slight, pasty-faced defendant, shackled at the waist and hands and wearing a green jail-issued windbreaker, showed no reaction....."

"....The defendant has said he himself was sexually abused as a child. In addition, his father and uncle were both convicted of sex offenses against children, the judge said today. Hernandez admitted spending at least four hours a day on the computer looking at images of child *advertiser censored* and "chatting online," Judge Wright said.
