Christina Lynn Bastian – The Charley Project
''Height and Weight 5'6, 170 pounds
Caucasian female. Red hair, brown eyes. Bastian's ears are pierced in the lobes and the upper cartilage. She has a scar on her thumb and a scar on her right eyebrow from a previous piercing. She has a tattoo on her left foot and ankle of a cherry blossom with the Chinese character for love; a photo of the tattoo is posted with this case summary. Her vision is very poor and she needs eyeglasses to see, but they were left behind.''
''Bastian's family believes she may have decided to walk out of her life, but because of her mental illness and because it's uncharacteristic of her to leave without warning, they're concerned for her safety. They stated she enjoys writing fictional stories and is a devout Christian. Her case remains unsolved.''

Christina Bastian, missing for eight years, had bipolar disorder and her family wonders if she is living somewhere with a new identity, possibly unaware of who she really is.

Alicia Harper recalled the way her sister’s belongings were scattered by the side of the highway on Nov. 1, 2015.

“All of her most important, precious possessions, the ones that she would never want stolen,” Alicia said. “It was like she got out here and decided it wasn’t enough, that she needed to just get rid of everything that was her before and start fresh.”
