You know I've thought that, too. But remember when she was in those videos and talking to GA, wanting to meet with him alone before the Grand Jury met? Clearly she wanted him not to testify to the Grand Jury and she was playing him at the time and I'm sure he realized that. The drowning was brought up by CA in one of the videos in July. We know now that KC was not too happy when GA came back into the household because she seemed to have this idea that she was getting the house. I think she could have planned this out to blame GA from the very beginning.

Remember, too, GA stating he did not put that duct tape on the can. What if KC put it there? She was the one riding around with the gas cans in her trunk if there were no cover I'd think the whole car would smell like gas. So in the end did GA lie about the duct tape on the can at the trial to cover for KC because CA told him he had to. He looked reluctant to admit it on the stand and that could be because he didn't put the duct tape there...KC did. That would be a direct link between KC and the duct tape. jmo

bbm - I would love, LOVE to correlate these psych eval dates with her jail visitor log - esp those with her mitigation specialist and, frankly, Medina... et. al.

Wasn't the mitigation spec. Rosalie Bolin (sp?) the one who married the serial killer? 'Cause she sure was a busy bee behind the scenes.

But now that I think of it, I think GA said that at one point the cans DID NOT have that tape on them, and then when he got them back from LE they DID have tape over the vents.

WHy in the world did Weitz review the two hour tape of the memorial? And why would the DT give him THAT to review? :waitasec: I think the jailhouse tapes would be much more revealing..oh that's right they wanted him to see the family that made her the way she is..

Back then it was my belief that GA lied about using the duct tape on the cans because he wanted to protect KC by pretending it wasn't his duct tape, it wasn't the family's duct tape, it came from some other source. I'm not claiming that he said that, only that he wanted to plant the seed of doubt that KC could have had access to this rare duct tape if they didn't even own it.

After the release of these depositions, I wonder if GA (or LA) would feel so inclined to protect her today?

So I wonder where this leaves Mr. Roy Kronk? FCA sat there in court while an innocent man was disparaged and lied about...and wouldn't the loathsome Mr. Baez have some responsibility to NOT do something like that? Why on Earth is he allowed to practice law?

Mystifying to me that the jury couldn't see through the "whatever works" approach of the defense. People have to start making demands to prevent this kind of degenerate behavior in court.

Although it's not right, this kind of stuff happens every day in a courtroom in this country, where a defense lawyers tries to shift blame/focus on another party. The only difference here is it was done on a much grander (and more public viewed) forum. The whole point of a defense lawyer is to remove their client from the accusation against them, whether that be by misdirection, falsifying witnesses, etc. There are and should be ethics in a courtroom where you can't out and out accuse someone not on trial (and thus no evidence) but sadly it's not enforced as much in our current judicial system.

You are so right. It is done daily. The difference here is that the sun, the moon and the stars came together or produce 12 people of the same ilk who were incapable of seeing through the BS.
