A bag of bones divers pulled from a body of water behind Blanchard Park YMCA this morning turned out to be dog bones. Divers turned the bag over to crime scene investigators, who hauled it away around noon.
The team plans to continue searching until sundown today. If they are unable to find Caylee, they will pick up their search again Sunday morning.

In CA's interview with Orange Co. detectives on Aug. 4, she recalled finding Caylee's backpack in the days after she realized her granddaughter was missing.
"There were no clothes in there like there would be. There was a couple of diapers in there, her toothbrush, a couple hair things," said CA. "And then maybe some wipes and that was it. Which is unusual cause their backpacks are usually full to the brim and usually books, toys, clothes."

The Texas group Equusearch resumed its search in two parks in Orange County, an area near the Orlando International Airport and a wooded area near the home of Caylee's grandparents.

Meanwhile, GA showed up at the Kid Finders Command & Volunteer Center Saturday afternoon. He said he holds no ill will toward EquuSearch and its theory that Caylee is dead. The grandfather is holding out hope that Caylee would be found alive. He also said his wife, CA, was not taking the search too well. She was not at the Kid Finders location.

The search is expected to resume Sunday morning. EquuSearch is asking for more volunteers, donations, food and water.

If Caylee's body is not found by Tuesday, EquuSearch said it will decide whether to come back again. It said it has searched as many as seven times for one victim and it's successful about a third of the time, having found 300 victims so far.

About 1,300 volunteers combed the area in East Orange County.
The searchers wrapped up at 5 p.m. Saturday, but will resume on Sunday morning.
The volunteers spent the day combing swampy and wooded areas around Blanchard Park and Moss Park. They found plenty of animal bones, but so far, no evidence connected to Caylee.
The volunteer turnout did not break the record for the largest nation search. That would have required 3,000 people.

I am amazed at the amount of work that has been done already. Did I just read that they have covered about 1/3 of their search grid? Amazing. These people are magnificent, really - to be out in the heat and the swamps searching for Caylee, I pray for them, they are good people.

I don't understand the cross information. Let me see if I got this right. Rob Dick, during the first search found a hand-made beaded cross in the woods, photographed it and left it where it was. Only a photo of it exists. LP said that female bounter hunter said that it was identical to crosses KC claimed to have made, which she saw while she was in the home.

Right?

Did anyone get the dogs in there to check that area specifically?

There a lot of crosses being talked about.
