Yes, Leo it was a bloody sock with blood from both children on it. It was found 75yards from the home and yes, there were similar break ins where screens were cut.. one of those cases remained sealed until way after darlie was convicted.. whether or nnot sshe is guilty IMO is not the issue its pretty damn obvious that they needed there to be nothing standing in the way of finding hher guilty.. and they did their damndest to ensure it was that result..
Be careful posting in this case cause IMO if you state the slightest thing wrong.. that shows you dont know every fact inside and out.. and especially if you question whether darlie is truly guilty its known to get attacked.. its the very reason I and many others have learned better than to ask any real questions that are up for debate in Darlies case. .just sayin'..
Nice to see ya Leo
Then my rational mind says, "well, HOW did that sock get there with the blood of 2 children on it?"
Surely she didn't run down the alleyway, 75 yards did she?
Hmm. Maybe, people do strange things sometimes.
The behavior at the memorial birthday remembrance with the "silly string" is what sealed her fate as I recall (vaguely, I must admit)
I have not visited the Darlie Routier case in many years.
From what I also recall (albeit vaguely) I once read a book on the case and the writer of the book, now believes Darlie is innocent and she wishes she could take back the book contents condemning her.
I hate the Death Penalty. Too many unanswered questions and too many found through DNA not to be guilty afterall.
Plus it never brings back our dead loved ones. It's strictly, revenge, an "eye for an eye" mode, IMO.
In Texas where Darlie is, they tend to execute people rather frequently compared to other states.
Perhaps with the questionable ones such as Darlie's case, they will hold off longer.
Who knows.....
And WHY did he divorce her, must not have been much love there to begin with as he claimed he believed her and that she was innocent too.

Here is
the author Barbara Davis who wrote "Precious Angels" and changed her mind about Darlie and her guilt. She's torn and upset about her changed opinion and that others may not appreciate her for it.
She said Darlie is a kind, loving compassionate person who said she forgave her for the book, before she even asked for her forgiveness.
Very unusual case indeed.
