I think she committed suicide. I've only read about 75% of the available info so far though, so I could change my opinion if I find more info in the rest of what I read.

I believe she was murdered for a number of reasons - mostly based on how she was tied up.
I think LE did a great injustice by creating the video showing a woman tying her own hands with ROPE to show how Rebecca could have committed suicide.
However, she was tied with ELECTRICAL CORDS, not rope. Show me a video of how a woman can tie herself tightly with electrical cords instead of rope, and I might reconsider....
