family sues hospital over snake handling death

http://www.kentucky.com/471/story/225160.html

i feel bad for laughing, but cant help it. im sure there is another side to this, but IMO she committed suicide.

As a snake owner, I tend to think this woman and the whole practice of handling of poisonous snakes by untrained people is irresponsible. However, belief in a higher power is very powerful and I'm sure she had every faith that she wouldn't be harmed.

For me, the bottom line is - we often do stupid things and expect that the hospitals will take care of us to the best of their ability. Looks like they didn't take the snakebite very seriously, to me.

As a mom, though, I'm thinking this kind of church would be the ONLY way I could ever get my teenager to go to a church service. :p
