fires in San Diego County-evacuations

I've alerted a mod to hopefully get the heading of this thread changed (if possible). It's far more than 400 acres now. Hopefully someone can update it.

Had my horse boarded there for a time. Many many animals there in addition to horses.

I pray they got them out. There's only one narrow country road to get to Rawhide Ranch in Bonsall.

Although this is San Diego County there are a lot of horses here. This is a very hilly area.

We are dry as a bone right now.

According the their facebook, all the kids, animals and staff are evacuated and safe!!! They thanked the community for coming together and getting them and their more than 100 animals to safety!

I have a feeling my conversation with my son will be interesting this weekend. If he gets to call that is. He will probably be called up to help the surrounding communities in one way or another.

According the their facebook, all the kids, animals and staff are evacuated and safe!!! They thanked the community for coming together and getting them and their more than 100 animals to safety!

I think municipalities finally realized that people will not evacuate and leave their critters behind. I know I wouldn't.

Bagged up dog food. Threw bigger Tupperware full of water into freezer. It's hot as blazes.

This is going to be a very bad night for many people.

One of my best friends was evacuated out of San Marcos and my boyfriend is rushing to help his cousin evacuate from San Marcos.

It's so scary around here!
